It's been a month and we've managed to move (most) of our stuff. We'll give another house tour, this time with our future plans in mind. Try to remember that some of these things could be 6-12 months away (or more), or possibly materialize in another form completely. But we're working towards cool, new things!

I can’t believe the year is already half over. Everything seems to be happening really quickly this year. I guess that’s just how life is at the moment. I’m glad that Emmy has adapted into an editing role so well. I didn’t realise that Mario soccer was their first one, and wouldn’t have been able to pick it if you asked me to. Although editing does fall outside of my skillset, I feel like everything that comes through the channels is high quality. Which I guess is really a testament to a lot of different parts to the process. Glad that Dan is feeling better too. Did you ever talk about how the testing with the memorable moments went? I may have missed it. It would be interesting to know, but also understand if there are reasons you can’t go into it. Unpacking suuuuuucks. I do think it is better than packing, but only because there is the satisfaction of seeing everything come together. I’ve been in my current place for 6 months now, and it felt like it town 2-3 to get everything set up. Although I still have some more pictures I need to get so even now still not quite done. Thinking about moving again, which I know will happen at some point, makes me dread the packing again. You guys have made so much progress with your unpacking. Its really interesting to see it coming along and hear about the (potential) future plans. I will be interested to see when it all turns out. Those iKEA cubes are great for a TV stand, I use them myself for it. All of the Nintendo consoles fit into it from my experience, the PS4 and first few Xboxs fit as well. The PS5 is too big and so I stand it on top behind the TV poking out the side. Not sure about the more recent Xboxs or Sega consoles though. You’ve got a big month ahead of you, don’t work too hard.

Our understanding about Memorable Moments (and how it affects the other aspects of the channel) is still ongoing — for now, it seems that it's not having a negative impact simply because lots of people are willing to watch them? I've been a little spotty with them in July, but that's just because balancing everything has been a little difficult. Our idea with all the retro consoles has been evolving a little just because we realized how many consoles there are! If we truly want to have everything available for play (at some point, at least), there's upwards of 20+ consoles that need to be around. I'll be talking a bit more about it in the next Patreon video, but we're still laser-focused on making retro streams a reality in the somewhat near future. Getting there!
