Hey Stephen. First I'd like to thank you and Mal for all the content you put on Stephenplays and SteohenVlog. I've been a supporter of you patron since its exception. I do have an important question for you. But firsts little backstory. I met a girl online sic months ago. It all started playing rockband 3. Let's just say we grew closer over a few months which grew to texting, calling, and skype. Anyway to make a long story short, she has a few problems which I can't really divulge into. Let's just say she is fine with proper medication. The problem is she's having problems with SSI payments and health care costs. I really care about her. And I was thinking of trying to raise money to help her out. I know you do a lot of live streaming, and although I've been a gamer since I was five, I know nothing about setting up twitch and going that route so any kind of pointers would be greatly appreciated. Or if you having other ideas on raising money I'm all ears. Sorry for commenting so late. She just brought this to my attention recently. She's not asking for a handout. And she has no idea I'm looking for a way to help her out. And although she prides herself in taking care of herself I believe everyone needs a little help every one on s while.

It's certainly admirable to want to help your friend, no doubt about that. However, Twitch/YouTube may not be the best way to do so. Remember, the only way we were able to raise so much money for the children's hospital was because we had a well-established viewer base. It may be very difficult to raise funds through livestreaming if you don't already have a large following. You may want to consider setting up a page on GoFundMe, which lets people donate to personal causes, such as medical issues (there's a few other sites that exist for this, too). In addition to spreading the word to your family and friends, there are people who peruse GoFundMe looking for causes to donate to, so you may be able to get some support on there. If you'd still like to pursue the livestreaming idea then I certainly wish you luck with it! To be honest, I've never done any sort of video on our livestream setup, so I don't have anything to link you to. I'd recommend downloading OBS (Open Broadcasting Software) and watching a few tutorials on getting it set up. It's a bit of trial and error, but once you have things set up you shouldn't have to mess with it too much. Regardless of what you choose to do, good luck! I think it's fantastic that you're trying to help out your friend.

You talking about the very personal and private things is really odd to me since those things aren't generally discussed on the vlog. That particular issue is really unfortunate though, I sometimes get sharp pains in that region but those are very few and far between so I don't think it's something I should be worried about. Especially since no person should ever have to experience pain in that region. I hope they find something so it can be cured though. :) I'm kind of sad that I don't get to watch your Fallout 4 LP since I really want to go through the game myself before I watch anybody else play. That being said, I'm really having a good time with it so far and I hope you're having a blast as well!

Keep in mind that the LP will be moving very, very slowly: I'll only be playing the game one hour a week. It's very likely you're already quite far ahead of me!
