Finally able to get things done this year, so here's the first update this year:  the A.R.C. Leg Cuff!

This cuff is designed to be worn at all times and work for off-the-ground suspension without as much discomfort as with regular cuffs, if necessary to catch a falling inmate by their feet or simply to restrain leg motion from the center point under the arch of the foot as opposed to wither side.

The D-Rings pictured here are not solid metal, they are braided kevlar loops with a lightweight spring coiled around it to maintain its shape.  It is soft, and when walking normally it will be pushed to one side and lay flat against the foot.  It will be annoying at first, but inmates will just have to get used to it!

The cuff can also work with upright suspension if supported by the two loops on either side of the top.  When supported this way, the inmate can "stand" to support their weight and relieve stress on their thighs if suspended by the PRS.
