Hearing Patrick say the fuck word is so funny. I listen to Tides of History and his other stuff, and his analytic style is the same, but it's so nice to have him here to hear a bit more of his personality come out. Awesome episode.

ten outta ten episode, this gave me a Real Good Think about the twin ideas of 1) an elite/literati existing in largely-independent Free Cities & 2) the printing press/books as speculative assets that really hit as one of the original/actually valid "technological disruptors" & how that dichotomy depended on martin luther himself. a wild time.
