The Fall! Now that is a super deep cut, I think.

Matthew Steidle

One part of this movie that they overlooked was the insane camera angles used throughout the first half of the film. Just extreme slightly upward looking tight shots of every characters face that gave me vertigo, very annoying. That and wahlbergs horrible and unecessary accent.

Scott Grabel

If Matt was on Red Letter Media, what movies would he want to discuss?

You do other things well, but the movie episodes are the best.

32:04-32:25 After his fateful DUI and recorded phone calls to his ex, Mel Gibson has really leaned-in to his heel turn in all of his acting roles. It’s one thing that everyone knows he’s a piece of shit in real life, but he exclusively plays assholes onscreen as well. Remember Mel Gibson’s guest-spot on the Simpsons in the 90’s, where their take on Mel was that he was too nice? I was watching all of the Lethal Weapon movies last year, and it’s like a different person.

44:38-45:06 I’d say that Malcolm McDowell’s other high point was as the Villain in Tank Girl. But yes, his post-Clockwork Orange resume is pretty brutal. Malcolm McDowell is such a mercenary that he is now in the same category as Eric Roberts, in that he shows up in Right-Wing straight to streaming movies without really being invested in the politics. At least Kevin Sorbo and Robert Davi are true believers; hearing Malcolm McDowell narrate the anti-Bernie “Free Lunch Express”, and then be kind of evasive about the politics of it in interviews afterwards, was disheartening. Now, Malcolm McDowell is part of the regular cast of CBC show “Son of a Critch” (ouch). The good news is, you can book him on cameo as well.

I liked Father Stu, I love these dramatic films with some funny moments... And of course Mark Wahlberg is just perfect here!

“They have chemistry of a grubhub driver and a doorman’ Felix is genuinely really acute and observant, he should write a novel

I follow someone who likes that show, and until I read your comment, I seriously thought he was a fan of the philosopher Simon Critchley.

There’s actually a town in Montana that is more Irish and more Catholic than Boston

Good news everyone! Steven Donzinger is now free from house arrest after 993 days!

Nimbly Bimbly As FUCK

I really hope he gets his scene made where a scientist knocks over test tubes and beakers with his boner

Was there any attempt to integrate the brands that Wahlberg shills for into the movie?

Just donated to MARIE (not Mary!) Newman. I encourage others to do the same; she really is a real one.
