I'm not yet a fan of Ari. He's a clever guy with good instincts, and he would be a huge plus for most shows. But this is Glass Cannon, a Million Dollar brand with some heavy hitters. His presentation on this show ... is a bit one-note so far. It used to be Elder sex. Now it's Fish sex. Compare that with the comedic range we've seen from the others. Having said that ... remember that Sydney evolved from her starting "um-ahh" teenager character in A&A to one great character after another. Ari can break out in the same way.
