Thanks to hitting our $6000/month Milestone Goal, Patrons get to see my original script page now in addition to the regular updates. This was one time where after I saw the thumbs, I decided that it would be stronger to reduce the number of panels on the page. I felt that by combining panels 1 and 2, we could better show the impact of our team falling, which was much more important story-wise to me, than showing how The Platinum Priestess escaped the waters flooding in (by using her magic.) She didn't need her own standalone panel just to show me dotting my i's and crossing my t's there. My initial note to Adam was that so long as we could see The Platinum Priestess small in the bg doing that, that was all we needed to see. That the main focus should be our heroes. You'll notice, though, in the pencils, he found a way for us to have our cake and eat it too, giving both the heroes and The Platinum Priestess a cool visual in one panel. :)

What's most fascinating is that the visuals are very emotionally Kyle-centric, but the script page isn't. So interesting.

You can see me considering making this page about Kyle in my note in Panel 3, and Adam took that direction and went with it. Since Kyle is our hero, it makes sense for him to represent the whole team here and to take center stage with this action. Once I saw it, it felt like the right choice.
