So interesting. The page is staged differently, but the emotive purpose feels exactly the same as the thumbnails. I'm curious about the process here. I mean that in the sense that the final is VERY well done. Thanks.

Yep, Adam definitely got what was needed and what I was going for right from the start. Our changes were really about telling this part of the story is the clearest, most compelling way.

how did you develop your cinematic eye, Alex? I know Adam realizes your words in graphic form, but your storytelling is very evocative and filmic.

Thank you, Frater. :) My background is actually as a filmmaker. My path to writing was originally writing short stories when I was a kid, to writing plays for the theater when I was a teen, and then screenplays from college forward. Because I wanted to direct my own films, I took a bunch of filmmaking classes and decided that being a film/video editor would be a good fit for a day job. And that's what I've been doing for close to 20 years. :)
