god, how can you not love rebecca? i simply love how casual she is about pointing a gun in david's face the entire time they're talking and how she's taking no shit from the guys at the afterlife. shame what happened to her bro though. he wasn't my favorite character, but it's still a shitty way to go. although, i'm more upset about seeing how much it hurt becca. poor girl derserved better than that. *sigh* anyways, i swear this wasn't just gonna be (another) comment about me raving about rebecca, but once i started, i couldn't just stop at one, so here are some additional fun facts about rebecca: -based on her clothes and tattoos, there's a somewhat common theory that she's probably part of or a former member of the mox. you know the same group that started as several sex-workers forming a gang to protect themselves from the other gangs, and the same one evelynn and judy are part of in the game? -she also has some hidden easter eggs put into her design, with the ram tattoo on her stomach, apart from somewhat looking like a female reproductive system, only giving further credence to the mox connection theory, is also the logo for the shadowrun series, another famous game franchise with a cyberpunk setting. the tatoo on her leg meanwhile spells out PKDICK, which is a reference to philip k. dick, probably most commonly known as the author of "do androids dream of electric sheep", the book bladerunner is based on, and one of the mayor inspirations for cyberpunk as a genre. -as for her age, pretty sure someone should have mentioned it at some point already, but just in case; rebecca's not a minor, she's just small. i don't think a specific age is ever given for her, but she's somewhere in her early twenties, same as lucy. the only actual minor in the group at this point is david, being only 17 at the start of the series. so.. i guess lucy definitely and rebecca kinda can be classified as predators? but yeah, rebecca just being small isn't all that strange for a japanese production i guess. a lot of asian women look fairly young by western standards. or, if you want to be a bit more creepy with it, there are some very rare real life cases of seemingly unaging people, like mario bosco or denis vashurin, who are in their fourties and thirties respectively and look 14, or, even more extreme, cases like brooke greenberg, who in her 20 years of life never grew past being an infant, both physically and mentally.

One of her tatoos is a reference to a cyberpunk boardgame, so she's filled with references. There was a short we watched about it so I don't think it means she was a Mox, but who knows
