Well, I guess Panda's tossed together tier list wasn't wrong for placing Todo at the very top. First Grade sorcerers seem to be your cream of the crop badasses, second only to Special Grade sorcerers who are apparently just freaks of nature. The weird order in which this anime decides to show things to us and with how early we see Special Grade level threats it can be easy to forget (or easy to just never grasp in the first place) that "Special Grade" is supposed to be a big deal. Like, Gojo got angry enough to suggest murdering all of the higher ups he takes orders from in an earlier episode (4 and 5). He said that with confidence, as if the idea was a chore he'd been putting off for later. Everyone around this man knows how much of a problem he is, including the villains apparently seeing as how their first instinct upon realizing that their Anti-Gojo bubble popped was to immediately retreat. The guy's Jovial and Shameless because he knows he's never in any danger, and all his superiors seem to be able to do is make empty threats at him when he acts up. That's fucking scary. And yeah, I almost feel bad for Hanami. All they wanted to do was contribute to getting rid of the species that wrecks the environment on the daily, and instead they get sandbagged by a teleporting body builder and his twink bestie....and then Gojo threw purple at them. You don't just throw purple at someone, that's like throwing orange or green at them. Horrible manners.

Gojo is just..... it's the wild-card, the 1 in a 1,000,000 that just so happened to happen, and you're unsure if its in your favor or if it will blow up and take everything with it.... and you're powerless to stop it.
