Also unlike the Founder, the range and effects on Zeke's ability is highly limited. The Founder can affect every subject of Ymir or titan in the world if it wants to, but Zeke's scream only applies to those within roughly ear-shot, however even though it's weak, everyone he's strengthened his path to via them taking his spinal fluid can still feel the command, it's simply too weak to turn them. in theory, ANY shifter of Royal Blood would be able to do the same thing, as it's a property of being of Eldain Royal blood, rather than a specific titan power.

finally, been sick the last couple of days and spent the entire afternoon catching up. so much that happened over those last couple episodes. gabi meeting sasha's parents, the truth about the wine, eren meeting with mikasa and armin and finally floch being himself and zeke's escape attempts. too much to cover in one go to be honest... still, even if it was last episodes ago, i need to express my respect for sasha's parents. they've shown an herculean amount of will power and restrain by showing themselves willing to forgive gabi and break the chain of hatred as you so aptly put. not sure i could do the same if i was in that situation. next, no, there wasn't any retcon involved with zeke's ability. it seems however, you've forgotten quiet a bit about him, didn't you? first of, it was made pretty clear that zeke is indeed eren's (half-)brother. it was shown in grisha's flashback that zeke is his son from his first marriage in marley to dina, meaning zeke is part of the royal bloodline, and eren is from his second marriage to carla inside the walls. in addition, it was also previous explained and shown that zeke can transform other eldians into titans by screaming. we just didn't know how exactly it worked. it was obvious that there needed to be a trigger for it, aka the wine/spinal fluid, as otherwise everyone in the survey corpse within earshot would have transformed during the battle for shiganshina. all it did was add the information as to what exactly the trigger is. lastly, respect for shadis. he faced his end like a true man and even though all those trainees betrayed him, he made sure to protect them by intentionally antogonizing them, thus making sure they'd attack him and not get hurt by the jaegerists for disobeying them. floch meanwhile can just go fuck himself. and finally levi once again being levi and scoring mvp. say what you will, but the man gets things done.
