Update Post! Jan 4th, 2023 (Happy New Year!) (Patreon)

Hey Patrons, if you haven't heard it from me elsewhere yet: HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🥳

Thanks to the continued support I've received from you all and the rest of the GaMetal community, 2022 was a banger of a year, and I'm confident that 2023 will top it with all that I have planned for you!

First, a quick update on the next song: Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit. In case you missed my last post of 2023, I decided to delay the song a bit and make it the 2023 premiere, as I still had a lot of stuff I wanted to fix up/add/etc upon reviewing my drafts. It's a really complicated song, more so than Void or Star Dream, despite being a bit shorter, which is what tripped me up a bit the last few days of 2022.

I've been hard at work on it the past few days I'm looking to have it finished and up by the end of the weekend!

Before the song shift, I had previously said I was still deciding on (what would have been) the 2023 premiere. Since Two Planets is now taking that role, I just want to confirm that I'll still have a surprise song choice coming next after Two Planets. This one's still TBA, and I'll be solidifying my choice shortly after tomorrow's stream (more on that in a sec).

So here's a look at the current to-do list:

• 2023 Premiere: Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit (Kirby and the Forgotten Land)
• Jan: (TBA song that was supposed to be the 2023 premiere lol)
• Jan: Light of Nibel (Ori and the Blind Forest)
• Jan: PWT Final Round! (Pokémon Black 2 / White 2)
• Feb: GameCube Medley (song list)
• Feb: Are You The Boss or Just A +1? (Silhouette Mirage)
• TBA: Project Peppermint

I'll be trying to get Light of Nibel and PWT Final Round! in this month after Roche and the second song. If there's time for a 5th, I might squeeze that in as well (which could end up being AYTBoJA+1, or one of the songs chosen/revealed tomorrow).

For the GameCube Medley, I plan on that being the first, no later than second, song of February.

I'll be getting back to work on Project Peppermint this month and will keep you posted on progress as usual.

I'll also be getting back to the Atmacoustics list this week! I need to make a habit of making them a far more regular thing (thank you Atmacoustic tier Patrons for your godlike patience!), so expect a lot more of them than usual very soon.

Lastly, stream times/dates! We'll be having our monthly Patreon Stream at our usual date and time tomorrow, Jan 5th, starting around 4:00 PM US Eastern Time. We'll be choosing 1 song from the Patreon Request List to go on the to-do list, and I'll reveal my monthly handpicked PRL choice shortly after the stream ends in the stream recap post.

The request list is now up to date (huge thanks to fellow Patrons TheHarDeOne and Kishoro Guy for their help updating the list!), any last minute changes can be made over at the official request list post.

Last month, time caught up with me and I couldn't squeeze in the Patreon Request List Song Listening Stream that I wanted to do, so let's go ahead and confirm the next one now: the next PRL Song Listening Stream will take place this Saturday, Jan 7th, starting around 4:00 PM US Eastern* Time.
