Good morning/afternoon/evening Patrons!

We've managed to keep the ball rolling and have now reached over 100 Patrons! I'm thrilled to have all of you aboard! Like I mentioned in my last update post, my main focus is now on hitting that full-time goal, so we can really get things going.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We're all done with the remake songs for May Madness, and I'm now grinding pretty hard this week to get the last 2 May Madness songs, Doomsday Zone / Big Arms Battle and Id (Purpose) finished. My current plan is to have DDZ/BAB up by Saturday, and Id (Purpose) up on the last day of the month. It's a good thing we have 31 days in May xD. I should have a preview for DDZ/BAB up by tomorrow and an Id (Purpose) preview up before the weekend.

All 5 remake songs were well-received: Star Wolf is on top in view count (although it has the unfair advantage of being released first), the new Attack of the Koopa Bros is now confirmed to appear in the SMBZ reboot, Hyrule Castle is quickly catching up to Star Wolf in like count, and even though it's received the least likes and will, in time, ultimately be the least viewed (the NES-song curse!), Unbreakable Determination remains one of two May Madness songs with 0 dislikes.

But most surprising to me is how well Let the Battles Begin! is doing. It's currently the most liked of the 5 remake songs with 946 (as of this post), and could be the 3rd GaMetal video to hit 1000 likes without a single dislike (the other 2 being Mega Man Mega Medley II, and the current record holder Pokemon Champion Medley which got somewhere over 1500+). I was actually kind of worried this song was going to under-perform, but it's done exactly the opposite. I guess I underestimated the impact of Cloud's addition to Smash and the recent FF7 remake news.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So with May slowly coming to an end, I've been thinking about what we'll be doing for next month. We've got the Patron Album Drawing coming June 5th, and I might just do a video for one of those songs next month, but I've already decided what will be the first song for June.

We're going to be hitting one of the most requested songs/franchises up with Id (Purpose), so I figured why not do 2 in a row and get another one of the most requested GaMetal songs out of the way?

Cheers!

On the topic of Kirby final boss themes, I can't wait to see what Planet Robobot's will sound like!

*I can wait, but only because I want to hear the music when I fight the boss first. :P

Oh, and just after you did that arena acoustic for Kirby Super Star that I requested, heh. Looking forward to this one.
