Here it is, the last GaMetal song of 2018... The Darkest Lord from Miitopia!

As I said in my last update post, I had a lot of songs that I could've gone with for the 2018 finale, but I ultimately settled on this one since it's a top 3 request (according to pre-closing 2019 GaMetal Song Ballot entries) and was something I could get done in time. Would've hated to schedule a tough song and then not be able to finish it in time. I definitely don't regret having this one close out the year, it's an AWESOME song.

Like I mentioned in the last update post, I'll be taking the first week off from the main song list to work on some side things like acoustic shorts and going over the 2019 Song Ballot. I'll give you all an update within the next couple of days to give you all the details on the first month of the year.

Until then, thank you once more for your ongoing contribution and support, with you all we wouldn't have had such an awesome 2018. I'm looking forward to putting 2018 to shame with the best year of GaMetal year in 2019! I wish you all a happy and safe New Year! :D

The Darkest Lord (First Phase) (Miitopia) - GaMetal Remix

It's the final GaMetal song of 2018, so let's take on The Darkest Lord from Miitopia! There were so many songs I could've done for the 2018 finale, but I settled on this one because it's awesome, was one of the top 3 requests from the 2019 GaMetal Song Ballot pre-closing (tonight by the way), and something not TOO complicated so I could have complete in time before the year ends. Even though I say 'not too complicated', this is still a complex composition in it's own right. It has several different sections and doesn't hit a repeat point (in the original) till almost 4 minutes in, which is pretty long for a game song. Because of this, I also kept this down to just the First Phase, since the Second Phase sounds completely different and would probably be better as it's own song (maybe sometime later!).
