Hey everyone, and happy New Release Monday! Today's map is a rework of a classic and fan favorite: The Blood on (of) the Vine Tavern!

This is my second-to-last map of the V2.0 rework of the Village of Barovia, and I was very excited to commission a number of new assets specifically for this location. From the amazing new wine glasses, decanters, and bottles to the new chairs, pillars, and candleholders, they all add so much more life and depth to this iconic location.

This map comes with three core versions:

  • Roof Level

  • 1st Floor

  • 2nd Floor

The map details are as follows:

Intended Grid Size: 30x20

PPI: 136

In the attached .zip file, you will find both the grid and non-gridded versions.

I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for your continued support!

Cheers,

DM Andy

Freaking GORGEOUS Andy!! What inspired you to do the 3/4s down wall on the exterior?? I don't care for them on the interior, but it's gorgeous here! :D

Thank you James! I've always felt the beauty of a building is on the facade and walls. Most of a buildings character is on the wall like when you go into an old manor or tavern building. With a 100% top down angle I've always felt bummed out I could not capture the main thing that gives a building life and character so it was important for me to try and introduce this perspective while keeping a playable area for tokens on the interior.

Indeed, and if you're careful to keep the roofline the same depth as the building, it will still work if the rogue wants to crawl around up on the roof. :) Absolutely brilliant, Andy!

It has a nostalgic beauty that I love deeply ! Keep 'em coming Andy !

Thank you, Eledryll! This is one of the most iconic locations outside of the castle, so we had to give it some extra love!
