Hey everyone, and happy New Release Monday! Today's map is a rework of a classic and fan favorite: The Blood on (of) the Vine Tavern!

This is my second-to-last map of the V2.0 rework of the Village of Barovia, and I was very excited to commission a number of new assets specifically for this location. From the amazing new wine glasses, decanters, and bottles to the new chairs, pillars, and candleholders, they all add so much more life and depth to this iconic location.

 This map is comprised of three levels:

  • Outdoor / roof level showing a few of the homes surrounding the inn and a small stable outside.

  • 1st Floor, featuring the main drinking hall, bar, kitchen, and storage areas. I also included a table dedicated to the Vistani owners as well as their shared room

  • 2nd Floor, featuring four bedrooms for rent as well as a latrine, washroom, and a large balcony overlooking the main drinking hall below. There are even a few solo seats up here for our dark and brooding characters to sit and drink at!

I think you'll find this map full of amenities to suit your adventuring party while they get their bearings in Barovia. The crackling fire, blood-red wine, and the sound of rain hitting the weathered roof should set the mood of this cold, dreary, and forsaken town!

 One more map until the entire Village of Barovia is fully overhauled! I just need to finish the Burgomaster Mansion, and you'll have a full set of V2.0 maps to fill out the village.

Next up, I'll be working through the next set of maps for Winter's Grasp, and I'm hoping to finish three more as time permits.

On the Saltmarsh front, the Council Hall will be next, featuring the town's governmental building where trials, council meetings, and other official affairs are conducted (along with the occasional execution).

While not this month, my near future plans for the Dark Fantasy front include the top of Tser Falls, the Vistani Camp, Bonegrinder, and new Lake Zarovich maps as I (re)map my way over toward Vallaki. Very excited to great some epic city maps for Vallaki with cramped streets, buildings, and all the key locations your party will enjoy.
