Hello everyone, and happy Sneak Peek Thursday! Today, I'm super excited to show you a bit of my newest map inspired by the bridge over the River Ivlis near Tser Falls. This is a re-work of a similar map I did a year ago, and one of my biggest regrets with that map was not getting the height correct between the bridge and the river. A 1,000 fall to the river below is quite the distance! It is the same height as the famed Chrysler Building in New York, and I even used top-down references of that building to get the distance correct here.

This is such an iconic location from CoS and the players 2nd "wow" moment after seeing the initial gates of Barovia. A reminder that this valley once once a beautiful and verdant land before the dark powers transformed it.

I hope you enjoy this sneak peek and I'll have the full map ready for release by Monday.

Cheers,

DM Andy

Ooooh this looks amazing!! Are you still using Inkarnate for these updated maps, or a different program?

I'm glad you like it! I am still using Inkarnate as the base platform; however, over the last few months, I've been hiring an artist to create custom assets for me, which you'll see more and more in my maps. Additionally, I use Photoshop to enhance the colors of each map as well so a mix of tools.
