Saul

I remember the familiar-fight commentator being very funny from this episode. I love how much care is put into this show; all the different aspects are so lavish, like the sets, the costume design, the creature work, the song selections at the end of the episodes, the brilliant casting of every character at every level. Some of the writing in this season gets weirdly stupid and lowbrow for one or two specific episodes, but the show is more than just its writing. It's the line deliveries from these outrageously talented performers, it's the looks they give the camera, it's the sets and the costumes and the music and the mood. I can't imagine how much work must've gone into that night market scene for example; and that's just one of the plot strands. It puts other sitcoms to shame.

Also, Kristen Schaal is brilliant in this, but even better in Bob's Burgers, which I recommend as one of the most unique animated shows around, in its 14th season and somehow improving. A show about nothing really, with no real jokes, just these weird, richly detailed and lived-in characters going about their mundane lives. It also has some of the greatest music in any TV show, with these wonderful, beautiful, catchy songs written entirely for twenty second long credit scenes and never heard again.

I agree bud, they put alot of thought and effort into every aspect of this show. For a goofy show about vampires, it is really well done.
