Definitely recommend Nighty Night to anyone who hasn't seen it! Much lesser known than some of the other shows here but it's brilliant.

TC Elba

i"m pitching for the thick of it. one of the best shows ever made. mad funny if you don't believe me 8.7 on imdb,. let's get it to be a winner

BigChanChan

Pleasantly surprised at how Black Books is doing 👍

Andrew

**Jonathan Creek** to be added to the next longer show poll 🙏

Anonymous

Taskmaster is so overrated.

Danny

Gonna be forever to get to Mr Bean. Been constant high up since Patreon started every time. If the poll was the same it would have won by now, but theres always one or two surprise new entries to the poll each time that just runs away with it :(

Chris

Come on Josh. It has to be Spaced next.

Chris H

I love Taskmaster but it has to be Spaced again. And I noticed Dead Pixels there so that as well. Just watched it recently and was surprised how funny it was

Sam Reeves

Can't wait to see Spaced just miss out again 👍

Joe S

Hi mate could you add Peaky Blinders to the next long show poll please, it’s 30 episodes 👍 new season comes out soon too

BR90s

Love what we do in the shadows & this country both are hilarious

Anonymous

Can we please have a watch of the live shows of league of gentlemen that are available on youtube?

Balkyne

Has is been common to add a drama to the list? They all appear to be comedy to me

James Waters

C’mon guyyyys thick of it for the win

Anonymous

I'll be sticking around until Darkplace finally makes it! Might be years at this point though :D

Austin Stratton

I can't wait for Mighty Boosh/Toast Of London to get in.. Toast should be seen by more people. If you're reading this and haven't seen it and you're at a loose end for something to watch, give it a go. What's the worst that can happen? XD

Ste_UTB

Gunna be a while waiting for boosh 😭

Anonymous

Boosh got my vote... here's to hoping

Anonymous

What does one have to do to get a show added to the poll? It seems like I'm missing something

BigChanChan

The first 4 or 5 series are excellent but it drops off a bit after that and then there's a few series that don't do it for me at all... In the first few series, the tasks were a bit more surreal and quirky, where as in latter series, the challenges become too obvious and a bit childish at times. That's kind of understandable because it must be hard to keep on thinking of new entertaining tasks over time. I just feel that it lost its original quirky edge that it had at the start but I still find it entertaining to a degree. I also think that the earlier series had much better quality guests! You get the feeling that the guest lineup these days is just to match up to a box ticking quota.

BigChanChan

Toast of London is awesome... I think it will be right up Josh's street so fingers crossed.

Anonymous

Yes that's what I voted for, not as good as Grahams others Father Ted or IT Crowd but still a decent watch.

Gary Tamblyn

The first season was great, the second was ok, but not as good IMHO, but as Josh is now familiar with at least 6 of the actors in the series (Julia Davis and Ruth Jones from ‘Gavin and Stacy’, Mark Gattis from ‘League of Gentlemen’, Felicity Montagu from ‘I’m Alan Partridge’, Angus Deyton from ‘One Foot in the Grave’ and Kevin Eldon from various sketch shows), I think he’d enjoy it more than at previous times. There’s plenty of reaction stuff in there.

Michael Harrop

Was hoping people would rally behind Psychoville as the natural successor to LoG but alas its not to be. Il take Taskmaster any day though

Anonymous

Still game! Still not making the poll. One of the funniest series for years and loads of episodes for months of entertainment. Personally don’t know how car share got in to these reaction videos it’s garbage

Anonymous

Fingers crossed task master doesn’t win it’s just a scripted game show not a comedy series

Gary Tamblyn

I watched both seasons of Dead Pixels, desperately wanting to like it, hoping it would have a similar vibe to peep show. It’s a very clever idea, and had some funny moments, but I came away a bit underwhelmed to be honest. But if Josh is into gaming, he might like it.

Tony Smyth

I wasn't going to vote for Taskmaster until I saw that Mr Bean was in second place. I really hope it wins now. And I hope we get Johnny Vegas or Bob Mortimer in the run-off. Anything but that other fecking eejit.

Tony Smyth

It's simple. You're already in the right place. Just recommend it here and if you get a few likes... That's what I do. It might work. I just never got enough 'likes' to test it. Seriously though, that's how it works. It's a good system.

Tony Smyth

You lucky bastard Joe! At least you have something to hope for. I'm waiting for House Of Fools and I'm older than you. I'll be dead long before it gets recognised as the masterpiece it is and win in a poll. Any poll. We'll ALL be dead by then. I should be allowed to skip the queue because I'm old. House Of Fools has Vic n Bob, it has MATT BERRY, it has Dan Skinner (AKA Angelous Epithemou)... it has Morweena Banks, her digital camera and church bells... Why would ANYBODY not vote for that? It gets funnier the more times you watch it.

Anonymous

Still can't believe Inside Number 9 hasn't made it through. That show is phenomenal and far beyond just being a comedy show

Austin Stratton

Too many episodes.. there is rules. Long shows are only voted for when Red Dwarf and LOG ends

Austin Stratton

Couldn't agree more. If you like that and haven't seen Boosh or Toast of London, I recommend both. Also Psychoville, but I'm sure you've seen that as it's Reece and Steve

Austin Stratton

Is this happening to anyone else? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WuTJidzUOZ3fPy_W2vRlKAgF7MXdHvKB/view?usp=sharing

SP

Josh mentioned in a previous post that he really hopes Psychoville wins - so come on everybody: vote for Psychoville!

SP

Josh mentioned in a previous post that he really hopes Psychoville wins - so come on everybody: vote for Psychoville!

Tony Smyth

It's a bit like that, (without the Mr Bean shite) for me. I didn't know that 10yr olds could have Patreon accounts

Anonymous

He's also been saying he really wants to watch Spaced for the better part of a year now!

Z is for Zed

I like Taskmaster, but it has the potential to nuke lots of short series polls for a long time if it's on a 10 episode basis each time.

Richard M

Nice to see Porridge doing well at least. One of the finest written sitcoms of all time with an absolutely legendary cast.

Anonymous

Josh, I'm not sure if you'd go for this idea, but I genuinely think if you put the option "Josh's choice" on the next poll, it would have a very good chance of winning. One night a week where you pick a show you want to watch, based on your own opinions, and when the show ends, you don't need a poll, you just pick another! You can pick shows that you believe you would like, based on the cast or concept. You could pick one of the other Alan Partridge shows, as you are already a fan of the character. You could pick "Rock & Chips" which is a prequel to a show you've watched and loved (OFAH), a show which will probably never get voted in as it's only three episodes and the OFAH momentum has died down since you finished watching. They can still be shows your patrons suggest, so people will still be happy, and one day out of seven where a show wasn't the #1 poll winner isn't a bad thing at all! I just think it's crazy that for about a year and a half you've said you can't wait to check out 'Spaced' for example, and you have to wait for it to be the absolute top winner of a poll. Something to think about, a possible change for the New Year (which reminds me, Happy New Year!)

BigChanChan

Yes a good idea... I've been thinking along the same lines to be honest.

Tony Smyth

YES! A 'Josh's Choice Tuesday' would be something to look forward to.

Chris

Josh, if spaced comes second can't you just make sure it is definitely the replacement for the next show that ends. Probably royal family isn't it?

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

That's a great idea. Have you messaged Josh directly to suggest it? If not, maybe you ought to incase he doesn't see your message on here. If he's unsure whether to, he could put a poll on here to see if the majority would like that idea or not.

Anonymous

I'll do a copy/paste to his inbox, thanks! and I'm pleased to see some others agree, hopefully that means he'll consider it.

Anonymous

Great Idea :) could make it structured around the poll too such that theres a shortlist of the top voted shows (say top 5 or 6) that you would pick the most appealing one you think youd enjoy based on a brief description of the show. Seems like a win win.

Sam Reeves

Looks like it's going to be a Taskmaster win. Let's be honest though, really only the first 5 series are any good. Everything since has been pitifully shite.

Jack Morgan

I'm personally hoping for the series Bob Mortimer was in. That was the last one I watched and he was great in it.

Sam Reeves

That's the last good series. The James Acaster one is alright aswell I suppose.

Tony Smyth

Anything with Bob Mortimer in it is fuck*ng legend, so shut up. Even his haircut is laughable.

Gary Tamblyn

2nd place is currently Mr Bean, so let’s not be too hasty in coming up with new ‘automatically showing 2nd place’ rules 😃.

Chris

Shit, didn't notice that. What an abomination. Thought spaced was in second. I must just mentally block out Bean

Anonymous

I don’t think Josh is on good terms with bob Mortimer considering he got him to remove all bob Mortimer content from his channel.

Anonymous

Was hoping that 'What We Do In The Shadows' would win as it's fantastic. Better than the film. Taskmaster is a decent alternative though.

Anonymous

I'm subscribed to one other reactor on Patreon and although she mainly does movies rather than series, she picks her own choices occasionally, and I think it just makes sense. They are still patron recommendations, so everyone is happy.

Danny

All Bob Mortimer stuff including his reactions to his WILTY appearances has been pulled off his Youtube

Kieran B

Sometimes I think it would be nice to vote for the next 3 shows as that might prevent the same shows coming so close to wining for so long only to be beaten by newer additions to the poll, but realistically it could then be a long time between polls and people may not feel engaged with the channel etc

Kieran B

Yeah I remember that being suggested before possibly by yourself and I agreed then, I’d be very much behind that - having been a Patron for 2 years now and waiting for Spaced to win (not that there’s not other shows I’ve wanted to win and enjoyed) I think this would be a great option - even if Josh picks something I don’t like I think one day a week would still be ideal for that concept. I think most other reactors do it completely like that.

Chris

100%. I'll be unsubscribing for 6 months after the royal family finishes.

Chris

Just don't get it. Josh wanted to watch Spaced. It's about as "right up his alley" as it gets. There isn't a show still to be watched that is more suited to his tastes. It's going to be another year until it has a sniff of winning because people just aren't aware of it enough. You can't watch Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz and not watched Spaced. I despair

Alexander Bond

Just one of the reasons I quit my subscription. My tastes no longer reflect the tastes of the majority voters here, so I've nothing to watch any more. You couldn't pay me to watch 90% of the shows on here now, much less me pay to watch them.

Anonymous

Everyone is bashing taskmaster, but it is one of the most successful new shows. It’s so unique. I just watched the new year day special that was television today, it was so funny

H Grazza

I also don't like a lot of shows at the moment, but have been waiting for taskmaster for ages and I think Josh will enjoy it. Quit complaining

Anonymous

im just glad gaving and stacey is over ,that was a waste of mondays for me lol! OFITG is the best one in the week so far IMO

Anonymous

I'd like to think there'd be less arguing about a show being picked if it's one of Josh's own choices. As you say, even if he picks shows I don't like, I wouldn't mind at all, I'd just be happy that there's some variety injected into the line-up. Sure I'd love to see Spaced reacted to, but I won't assume that would be Josh's pick, he might go for something completely different, that is if he does go down this route.

Anonymous

I absolutely agree at least one day a week should be a show of Josh's choice!!! it's no fun if there is a show that piques his interest and he doesn't get to watch it for a year or so because it isn't popular enough.

Anonymous

It's a fantastic show indeed, would be perfect on the line-up.

Steve Read

Crazy. Yeah, I just searched for them on YouTube. Every other reaction channel still has theirs up though. 'Kin'ell Josh, what did you do to upset him? :')

Anonymous

I think you should add Blackadder season 1.. you're ready for it now

Steve Read

Not sure how well known it was, or if it'll get any interest, but How Not To Live Your Life was one I'd like to see on a poll. 20 episodes over 3 series.

Anonymous

There's some great stuff in season 1. Worth it for Brian Blessed alone.

Danny

@Tom Tucker What else could it be? Its multiple shows with Bob Mortimer made by different companies that have all been pulled. His other WILTY clips are up with other people just not ones with Bob, so it isnt the WILTY people
