Epic humour. Maybe next time don't judge comedy through your shallow lens. People enjoy what they enjoy even if it doesn't align with your view believe it or not. If you don't like the film skip it. Humour isn't dictated by reviews on imdb you know, I subscribed to Josh for his reactions not the films but when I like both its great. Don't spread your negativity here just because you don't like a film he watched please. It's unconstructive and means nothing.

@Danny - if Epic Movie is the same family of film as the Scary Movie ones then you can very very strongly count me out. That's sort of the kind of humour I come here to escape from.

Josh, you were wondering about great(or just good) comedies from the last five or so years: Spy is an underrated but very funny little movie, with Melissa McCarthy and a bunch of other funny people, including Jason Statham playing a ridiculous hyper-macho version of himself. I evangelise about this film because it sounds like it should be another identikit, formulaic Melissa McCarthy, SNL-cast-populated load of shite, but it's a very pleasant surprise. Another is This Is The End, with Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, etc. all playing themselves, and then the apocalypse happens and they slowly lose their minds. Underrated, again. Hunt For The Wilderpeople is a sweet little film by Taika Waititi, about a guy who takes in a fat, gangsta-rap loving teenage boy(the same kid who was in Deadpool 2). Taika did What We Do In The Shadows and another of the funniest films of the last five or so years, Thor Ragnarok. There are a lot more but those are the handful that I could think of.

Damn, Jason Mantzoukas steals every scene he's in. He really is crazy in everything - typecast: 'crazy guy'. He's great.

@Saul Till it is a parody movie at the lowest end of the scale. Its often considered one of the worst movies of all time. IMDB rating: 2.4/10
