Not sure why this film did so well in the polls, to be honest. I didn't even watch Josh's reaction, just skipped to the end and the two word review of 'pretty decent', basically sums it up.

Width, not depth. A lot more people have seen this and sort-of-quite-liked-it, than have seen Withnail And I and fallen in love with it. And unfortunately 'depth of feeling' isn't a metric in the votes, so we end up with tv shows and films that are only there because masses of people were mildly amused by them, while wonderful tv shows and films that were watched and loved to a life-changing degree by fewer people languish at the bottom of the vote. C'est la vie.

Dayumn, that was painfully average. A shame, because Jason Sudeikis is funny throughout, and some of the writing's sharp. But the laziness of that ending - wow. They really do think that if they give a film anything but a happy ending people are going to start self-harming before they leave the cinema.

I'm a little bit surprised anybody wanted to see a reaction to this to be honest. But each to their own. Can I suggest a few films for future polls if they're no longer on the list already (I know some have been in the past) The Italian Job (original one) A Clockwork Orange Rita, Sue and Bob too Kes The Wicker Man (original one) The Crying Game Thanks Josh :)

Maybe a horror/thriller? change of pace - will poulter reminded me of "Midsommar". Hereditary and Run are another couple of films you might enjoy.

The only thing I knew about this movie was that Ed Helms was in it. I swear to god I spent the first 5-10 minutes convinced that Jason Sudeikis was Ed Helms... and then Ed Helms showed up lmao.
