Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

Wow-what a great episode they are finally millionaires !!! I was a bit worried something would happen where they lost the money. That would have sucked for sure. Hopefully, Cassandra and Rodney get to pop out a little one before the series ends. I look forward to seeing how things are going for them in the final episodes. Maybe they will invest and make more money, maybe Del boy will make a few bad investments and lose some of the loot or maybe he will sit back and just enjoy his retirement. I doubt the last one knowing Del boy lol. I really enjoyed this episode and I look forward to watching the final 3. I hoped everyone is having a fantastic day.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

Perfect timing just got in from work. LOL.

dratsab888 .

i've been waiting like a year for this reaction, lets gooo!!!

Steve Read

Been hitting refresh for a while waiting for this. Such a legendary episode (and I've got fuck all to do this evening lol).

Kieran B

Have really been looking forward to this one. This was originally the final episode until John Sullivan decided to bring it back a few years later, as perfect an ending as this was I do still enjoy the newer ones

Anonymous

This episode would've been a great ending for the show BUT the final 3 specials are really good two. Can't wait to see you check them out. Only 3 episodes left to go. 😢

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

Been looking forward to this all day :) (well, for over a year lol)

Steve King

Where the show should have ended

Anonymous

Yeah for me this is the definitive ending of the show. The next three are OK but I think Sullivan was swayed by the British public wanting more and the £££ the BBC were offering.

AWR93

What a fantastic and beautifully written episode! The trotters’ finally became millionaires! Now even though some people will consider this as the “final” episode, I wouldn’t let that put you off of the last 3 episodes as they are still good in their own right. Also one thing to note is that, this episode “time on our hands” was aired in 1996, but the next 3 episodes aired a couple of years later in 2001, 2002 and the final episode in 2003.

Anonymous

I've been looking forward to this since you said you hoped they become millionaires eventually! Lol

Anonymous

Same as the other commenters, been so looking forward to this one! I know others disagree but for me this is still sort of the perfect ending for OFAH. John Sullivan saw it differently of course and who am I to argue with him?! Still, this is such a good episode and in my mind it would have been so neat and tidy to just let the audience wonder what happens next. We're almost done with it and it will be a sad day when we do but been great watching alongside someone's who's just seeing and appreciating for the first time.

Anonymous

The next three aren't as bad as some people make them out to be but I do agree that this should have been the final episode. "Has he ever suffered with pleurisy?" "Only when he's tried to spell it"

Teddy Alison

Yeh love this episode and it’s great to see them become millionaires. The next three episodes aren’t as bad as people are making out, only because people wish it ended here but they are still decent

Richard M

The true ending! So good.

Anonymous

The "you've only gone and knackered a gravy boat" line is probably my favourite in the whole series.

ALW

I know others have said as much, but without spoilers, this is the original 'final' ending before they were pressured to bring it back. For me, I actually like the episodes that follow this; I don't think they're anything less than the usual high quality. BUT... in an ideal world they would have been placed before this episode chronologically!

NEXUS

I've never re-watched the last 3 episodes since they aired and don't ever intend to, I know you will watch them but they are not OFAH to me. This is the only ending to OFAH I see as cannon.

Ryan Lynch

Night of pure comedy for me. Finally got round to watching Blazing Saddles for first time ever as part of your Sunday reaction. It was so stupid and funny. Now onto this for drama and laughs.

Anonymous

They'd be quite different if the episodes took place before they became millionaires. Half of the plot would probably be different.

Anonymous

You've been subbed here for a matter of weeks and all you bring is negativity. Jesus, man - get laid or something, being this shitty is not good for your health.

Anonymous

I know there are a few episodes left, but it has been an absolute joy watching your reactions Josh. Only Fools is by far the greatest sitcom ever and David Jason as Del Boy is one of the greatest performances. And all written by one guy - John Sullivan. It’s been a blast watching them all again with you.

Anonymous

this wrapped the show up perfectly, the final three episodes are cause for much debate, I personally love them but it may have something to do with the fact I wasn’t born when the show was intended to “finish” so I didn’t realise this was the original ending! I do wonder if you will perhaps make a video when you finish the entire show and maybe give your top five only fools episodes? I would love to hear a summary after rewatching them with you this whole time! Thanks for another great reaction :)

Anonymous

The greatest single episode in British television history. Been so awesome to watch along with you. Probably the 20th time I've seen it. Fun fact - when they enter the pub as millionaires the camera pans across a table and sitting on the table is writer John Sullivan in shot. His only ever cameo. The man wrote every single word of this show. Mind bending genius.

Anonymous

I'm pretty sure this episode ties into the opening conversation of the very first episode of series 1 where Del Boy is telling Rodney off for keeping accounts of their business deals. So cool that John Sullivan tied both ends of the series together like that cuz it just shows you that they were sitting on that fortune from day 1 and they had no idea. Genius!

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

I enjoyed this so much. Excellent episode, perfect balance of humour and emotion 👌I have no idea how many times I've seen this one over the years but it never fails to get the tears flowing when they're in the lift, when Rodney buys Del the Rolls to thank him for everything he's done for him and when everyone starts clapping them in the pub. Fantastic. The whole episode is so well done. I do wish this had been the last episode because it was just right but I still can enjoy the last 3 for what they are and look forward to watching them again. Thanks a lot Josh.

Anonymous

This will always be the proper finale episode for me. Still looking forward to your reaction to the next three though, I haven't seen them in a while myself as when I rewatch OFAH I tend to have this episode as my finishing point.

Anonymous

Nice reaction Josh when you predicted Del passing out haha. This the true finale of OFAH... but Strangers on the Shore coming up is absolutely gold

BR90s

Hey for everyone that didn’t pick up on this is there little bit of irony that people don’t realise is that from this episode of Only Fools and Horses where they become millionaires. The irony is that they were millionaires from the very first episode. The watch was discovered on the first episode and Rodney wrote it down. Not many people realise that. If you rewatch the first episode you will see that watch they got from a house clearance.

Anonymous

WHAT A BLAST THIS HAS BEEN ....JUST BRILLIANT

Anonymous

This was their walk off into the sunset moment. John Sullivan just couldn’t resist bringing them back. This would have been the perfect ending for me.

Mr K

This is the ending for me. 🙂

AfterWorkReactions

Yea I have seen some saying they like them while others don't. It's all good man I am looking forward to seeing them. I might do something like that we will see with my schedule going in to whatever show comes next.

Anonymous

wheeling and dealing is what makes life fun, i suppose thats why billionaires all give them selves insane challenges ,bill gates with his africa missions and elon musk just being a crackhead

BigChanChan

A bit more interesting info for you Josh... This episode at the time was massive in most people's lives and had nearly 25 million people watch it, which at the time was near enough half of the UK population! It's TV history, you just don't see those figures anymore and it's still the 5th most watched programme in UK TV history.

Josh

I loved the elevator scene in this episode, great scene that mixes comedy with tragedy.

Anonymous

I have a book all about only fools and horses, the best scenes and one liners ect, It also has an official episode list in it. between this episode and the next episode there is a comic relief special listed, might be worth checking out on your next ofah reaction as a small bonus (only about 7 minutes long). There was another comic relief special in 2010 with David Beckham in it but is not on the list as the book was released before that

Joe S

The next 3 episodes are still great, I get why people think this was just a perfect ending but the way it ends is still very good. And yeah this is also sadly the last episode to feature uncle Albert and Mike as sadly both actors died

Daryl

I do think this is probably where it should have ended. I'd loved the show, like so so so many, for many years. I was really happy with the finale, but honestly I couldn't help but want to see more. The finale three are still plenty of fun and I'm looking forward to them.

Anonymous

I have these all on vhs and dvd. Is it me or the editing or the Mandela effect.? The end song is a cover of the original and they seem to have cut the bit where Albert nearly crashed the boat and that was the whole joke of Albert being in the boat

Anonymous

The original broadcast the end song was Crosby stills Nash and young. Our house. Probably been copyright claimed or they had to pay the artists. The absolute greed of people and selfishness on this earth is absolutely disgusting. Fucking shocking its total greed

Keith Pratt

All I remember is Rodney holding some receipts. I don't remember seeing the watch and I've seen that episode many times.

Keith Pratt

I did wonder. It's been a long time since I saw the original broadcast, so I wasn't sure.

Gary Tamblyn

Yeah, cutting the boat bit was a bit weird, I guessed he had a near miss, judging by Rodney and Cassandra’s reactions, but they don’t really show anything. Also thought the music seemed a bit karaoke for the finale (at that point), understand why now.

Anonymous

True but it spoilt the ending for me. The original end song was much more emotional and fitted better with the end scenes

ALW

Josh, you should definitely rewatch the ending montage where they have all their wealth with the original Crosby Stills Nash and Young version of 'Our House' because it really does set the scene so much better! It's bound to be online somewhere. I appreciate licences run out and they sometimes have to change songs or use covers, but I think it really works so much better with the original in place; this cover version just sounded weirdly sad.

Anonymous

Such a shame when they start editing and cutting old programs. They should be left in their original form

Sam Reeves

Getting towards the end now! The episode before the finale, 'Strangers on the Shore' is an absolute hoot!

Anonymous

Hey Josh after the show ended boycie got his own spin off called the green green grass. It was written by the same writer u should check it out 😊

Anonymous

Hey Josh, very happy you enjoyed this episode but we sadly say goodbye to two popular characters here. Uncle Albert's actor Buster Merryfield would lose his life in 1999 aged 78 to a brain tumour and Mike the Barman's actor Kenneth MacDonald tragically died while on holiday in Hawaii with his wife and children at only 50 years old to a heart attack. If you watch the next episode to the end of the credits there's a lovely tribute to the two actors.

Anonymous

Brilliant episode -you’ll love the next special also 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Anonymous

So glad that we all managed to keep this climax a secret from you, Josh.

Josip Buretic

I finally have watched this reaction, it was great reaction to a beautiful episode!! This would be perfect ending. I never watched the last 3 episodes. Looking forward to seeing those

darren turner

Many people in the UK thought they should have left it there. The other episods didn't reach the greatness.

Tony Hall

This was originally planned to be the final episode but such was the demand that John Sullivan picked up his writing pad and wrote three more episodes. I personally think they should have ended it at this episode as it was the perfect ending. The next three episodes kinda took this perfect ending away and the series had a weak ending.

Not $6 million.. but Sterling. At the time £6.2 million was worth around $10.8 m.
