Yeah, folks, I made the decision to switch back to the Patreon poll system. This does limit me to 25 options but it will have to do for now. I had some issues this time around attempting to make a poll using the polling website.

If a movie you requested did not make it on this list please check the list below to make sure it has not been requested by someone else. If it has not been requested yet please leave your request in the comment section. I will add it to the list and it will be added to a future poll.

This Poll contains the 25 movies with the highest votes from the previous poll.

Movies that I have seen before were not added to the poll, they are listed below.

You are allowed to vote on more than one movie

I feel like Hot Shots is right up your street

Anonymous

come on hot shots

Rich Moyse

Come on ‘guest house paradiso’ do your thing guys 🙏🏻

Anonymous

Interesting selection this month to choose from, some fantastic, some absolutely dire. Looking forward to the results!

Anonymous

Your reaction to the guest house paradiso fight scene would be golden I reckon.

Jake Harrison

Hope paul is finally one

Anonymous

Love Mean machine. Haven’t seen it for years. And not sure if I’ve already requested it but can you Add Plebs to the next tv show polls pls

Sam Reeves

Some absolutely awful films on this list this month, can't believe some of them were suggested in the first place.

Anonymous

Tucker and Dale is one of my favourite films but I don't think it's very well known

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

Happy for Guest house Paradiso to win but I will never give up on Withnail and I as my first choice lol

Anonymous

Who chose On the buses lol

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

Two I'd like to suggest for future polls A Clockwork Orange The Italian Job (original one)

(Just) Steve

I'm shocked and appalled that Spaceballs has so few votes! I think Josh would love that movie.

Anonymous

Someone actually requested Epic Movie before - you know, the same Epic Movie that's regarded as one of the worst films of all time. Nowt so queer as folk!

Mr K

If like to add Hot Rod and FAQ About Time Travel to the list. 🙂

Anonymous

Full Monty should win out of these! Id suggest The Burbs, if youve never seen it.

Anonymous

Gotta be Guest House Paradiso for you Josh 👍

Anonymous

I'm hoping Dead Man's Shoes gets on the next poll. It's another Shane Meadows movie (This Is England) and is soooo good!

Anonymous

Can I add Kentucky Fried Movie (1977 Comedy/Sketch) to the list? I think Josh would enjoy it. Zucker, Abrahams and Zucker of Airplane fame were the writers.

Anonymous

Please let blazing saddles win ( such a great film and Mel Brooks and the late Richard Prior co-wrote this, you find more each viewing. Late great Cleavon little was great as sheriff bart along with Kate great Gene Wildur as his sidekick the wako kid ). You have to watch it sometime Josh, you don't want to miss out on this.

Mick Mills

A shame In The Loop didn't make the top 25. Hoping for Death of Stalin or A Fish Called Wanda.

Louis Hessey-Antell

Withnail needs to always be on this until it wins. It will make your life, Josh!

Chris

The correct answer is obviously Fargo and Withnail and I. Unfortunately most people who vote in these polls are comedy simpletons and thus you end up with shite like Johnny English winning

Anonymous

I'm the one who recommended/requested it. Keep trying guys! Josh, you should listen to these people, they have taste! Watch a trailer! X

Danny

Makes me sad not to see Naked Gun 33 1/3 on the list :(

Anonymous

Paul! ..or The Truman Show

TheHigh

truman , borat and jackass :)

Jamie Sherry

I voted for the films I think you would like best, rather than my faves. So, What we do in the Shadows and Bruno. Withnail & I is my favourite of the list, but I'm not sure it's your thing.

Ash Jeffries

Planes, Trains and The Truman Show are my top two picks of that selection. The first is a comedy masterclass with Candy and Martin perfect foils for one another, the second is a downright superb, prescient piece of filmmaking, the first glimpse of Jim Carrey's acting range beyond daft and goofy. Peter Weir's direction and Andrew Niccol's script are a combined work of art. On a completely different level....I loved the TV series Bottom and wanted Guest House Paradiso to be good. I'm not convinced it's terrible as Rik and Ade's presence alone is worth the effort, but it's quite odd. It has a darker, grimier feel to it than Bottom, but not in a good way like The League of Gentlemen* for example... just an odd way. Richie and Eddie are not the same characters in truth, sort of parallel equivalents in another paradigm. *The League of Gentlemen's film wasn't great either but the TV series is sublime. I am still hoping it wins a poll one day! :-D

Alexander Bond

It should just be a list of Cohen Brothers films and Blazing Saddles and Wanda. Also, I can't believe Trading Places never appears on the list, Eddie Murphy's best comedy.

Anonymous

they are both good movies and i think truman will get on there defo by the looks of things so thats good, not sure about planes tho quite a few in front of that one

Anonymous

It's been a long long time since I saw that film lol. I can't remember many sketches outside of the Bruce Lee parody.

Anonymous

Hey Josh, could you please add, Burn After Reading, and The Firm (1989) to the movie list?

Anonymous

Would be good to see some British classics like Love Actually and Notting Hill on the list

AfterWorkReactions

I will add those to my list. I will have to have Tay watch Clockwork with me if it wins she likes that film alot.

AfterWorkReactions

I think I have seen that when I was a kid but I dont remember anything about it besides Tom Hanks being in it.

Saul

These poll results do not make me think kindly of my fellow man.

Manly Stump

Bear in mind Josh really isn't a fan of romance stuff, I don't think these would make for very good reactions.

Alexander Bond

By definition, most people are going to be into the broadest simplest most popular stuff. We're going to have a long wait to get to most of the niche stuff. Unless Josh wants to split the polls into niche and broad and have 3 nights a week of each plus a movie.

Anonymous

Please outvote Truman show

Manly Stump

Gotta be honest, I'd be happier if the votes were in reverse order! How are Blues Brothers, A Fish Called Wanda and Spaceballs so low??

Anonymous

Tucker and Dale is such a good comedy, just some dumb fun , it's going to be awhile looking at this haha

Anonymous

Come on Guest House!

Anonymous

Would love to see guest house paradiso!

Adam C Turek

i'm surprised Hot Shots is so low

Anonymous

you should consider watching some of the old Pink Panther movies from the 60s and 70s. such underrated movies. I dont ever see anyone mention them.

Anonymous

It's got to be Guest House Paradiso. Bottom + Simon Pegg? Come on...

Manly Stump

Don't forget Bill Nighy (Shaun's stepdad) and Kate Ashford (Shaun's girlfriend)!

L M

Truman is no.1? Oof

Jamie Sherry

At this point I think even the Britsplainers want Josh sat in a chair like Alex DeLarge watching whatever insipid dogplops they choose to watch on Xmas day before the Queen's speech.

Manly Stump

Looks like Full Monty and Guest House Paradiso are joint fourth... are we having both this month or is Josh going to flip a coin...? Full Monty got more last time, maybe that can be the tie-breaker?

Joshua-Lewis

I was hoping for "What we do in the shadows" so bad, Maybe next month

Anonymous

Literally cannot comprehend what's going on with the movie votes....🤦

Jamie Sherry

This is obviously right up Josh's street, but people want to 'educate' on their favourite film, rather than just at watching him have a good time. I'll be voting for it again next month!
