This was a decent episode, it would have been great to get more Karl since this was his last episode. It felt like the decision for him to leave was made last minute. Maybe he went to a new project or something and they needed to write him out quickly. I could be wrong just it just felt that way to me. If someone told me why already, my bad I can be forgetful sometimes lol. Looks like Vicky is a permanent staff member now that's cool. I wonder if the Geoff guy will be in the rest of the season. He's full of crap already so he could be pretty funny. I hope everyone is having a fantastic day !!

Series 2 isn't as good for me, way to much Kevin in it. I think this was about the time karl /Ricky and Steve all had there falling out, at least Ricky and Karl anyway.

I don’t think Karl wanted to do the second series and, I’m guessing, Ricky persuaded him to do a few quick scenes, to explain his departure. It’s a shame because I think Karl, along with Hannah, is one of the sane characters that held the show together. https://metro.co.uk/2013/09/19/karl-pilkington-quits-acting-after-having-to-wear-fing-stupid-wig-in-derek-4054306/ For someone who “isn’t an actor”, he was perfect for that role. Whether it’s acting or not, he’s very watchable and funny, so a real shame he gave it up.

For me, if Series 1 was a 3h 30m film, I’d leave the cinema quite content. A good series with a brilliant ending. But then if I was stopped as I was leaving and asked ‘Where do you think you’re going ?” .... “It’s not over yet, there’s another 4 hours to go ! ” I’d have mixed feelings. There’s a few good bits in Series 2, but I think you can have too much of a good thing. 🙂

I missed Karl so much in season 2... despite that, there are some brilliant moments in s2.

I think David earl that plays Kev ad-libbed a lot of stuff as you will see in the series 2 out takes. He has Ricky laughing so hard and unable to finish the scene. I look forward to your reaction

Karl at the time said he just didnt like acting after first series,so I guess Ricky git him to just appear in first episode of series two
