These dudes are out of control what a great first episode. They stole a TV, broke a guy's leg, were grinding on each other in front of a family, got rob, blackmailed two thieves into stealing speakers and Paddy choked his chicken over Max lmao. I look forward to the next episode this was a great start. Oh yeah and this weird position Paddy was in cracked me up lol.

Glad you enjoyed this, despite what some of the naysayers have said! A few points of info for you: 1. Trisha Goddard ("Trisha") is kind of the British version of Oprah, but not held in any way as such high esteem as Americans seem to think of Oprah. 2. The Belgrano Sisters are named after the Argentinian ship called the ARA General Belgrano which was sunk by the British during the Falklands War. ("the Belgrano sisters, on account of the amount of sailors who've gone down on them")

Ahhh. I am so disappointed. This could have been "The Thick of IT". Lollllll. Appreciate your humour guys but on this one, it just does not click for me. 'Thick of It' next time please. I will try watching Phoenix again even though I find Peter Kay to be Paul Kays un funnier brother. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skUgegwkX9I Paul Kay is now Gervais Shrink in 'After Life' but in previous life used to be a hilarious character called "Dennis Pennis".

While it's nice to see more of Max and Paddy I still feel its jarring especially immediately after watching Phoenix Nights. Max seems like a different character completely in this to me, it's a more goofy show which is fine but I dont think it holds up against Phoenix Nights in quality.

Hey man, with what we do in the shadows I agree you need to watch the film first. The series takes a couple of episodes to get going but if youve seen the film you appreciate it more
