Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

What a fun episode, this was top-notch sci-fi wackiness. Lister played pool with planets lmao. One of my favorite Cat moments in this episode was him trying to convince Rimmer to sacrifice himself lol.

Cat: Come on, man, you gotta sacrifice your life!  I'm not asking you to do anything I wouldn't do!

Rimmer:  YOU?  You'd sacrifice your life for the good of the crew?

Cat: No, I'd sacrifice YOUR life for the good of the crew. lmao

I covered most of what I wanted to say at the end of the episode. I hope everyone is having a fantastic day !!!

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

So what is it?

Mr K

Oh, I love this one. 🙂

Stuart Fewtrell

Talkie Toaster was voiced by David Ross, who was the original Kryten :)

It is funny Holly knew the answer to every question in existence, but couldn't think of a way to fix her ridiculously short lifespan!

A white hole?

The Paul Robeson on dope joke: he was a singer in the 30s who had a VERY deep bass voice. If he smoked a joint he would sound like Kryten did when he was in slow mo.

I don't blame Lister for not thinking of waffles, they're not really as popular in the UK as they are in the US (or at least, they weren't 30 years ago before a lot of American style diners opened). Actually, when I first saw this episode I was confused as I thought they were implying you could cook Birds Eye Potato Waffles in a toaster!

Happiest Aku

I've never seen one before, no one has, but I'm guessing it's a White Hole.

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. A black hole sucks time and matter out of the Universe; a white hole returns it.

Scott sage

A joke between kryten and cat happens in this ep that continues on and get funnier through out the seasons, never realised it started in this episode Great reaction as always :)

Jason

Hey Josh I think the Mediafire link is last week's episode

Daryl

So what is it? 🤣

"...Wake me in EIGHT hours..." Another instance where the shows goes to the time travel well, not mad as they come up with interesting plots, but they seem to do it, ALOT. Waffles aren't big in the UK, and to most the first thing they think of is Potato Waffles (which make a decent sandwich if you are on a budget)

The Eskimo fact was true, but was done long ago and only during famine.

So many great episodes coming up, I’m looking foreword to the next one :). No spoilers

my favourite episode across the entire series. Lister saying he won't missh will never not be funny!

ALW

Yep, and if memory serves was always voluntary.

I'm with Lister as when I used to play Pool every week I was OK at it until what became known as "The Magic Third Pint", that's where I became a bit more relaxed and got my eye in! (it was a balancing act though as if you then drank too much your skills would soon decline again lol) If you said "waffles" to someone in the UK then they'd probably think of the potato variety. They're essentially mashed potato with a crispy coating in a grid pattern. Here's an advert showing them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuZ53WtC8C8

Michael

I think most people would think of a waffle when someone says waffle. But it might be a generational thing

If you asked Alexa if she wanted any toast she used to reply with Listers quote in the UK at least but I think that's been removed now 😔

Oh by the way Josh, there's a little easter egg in the opening theme that you should listen out for. In the left hand audio channel, the words "Red Dwarf" are sung through a vocoder. Some people can't hear it at all but it's definitely there. Also, fun fact: Talkie is played by the same actor who played Kryten in series 2.

Manly Stump

Just tried it, it still works! Also asked if silicon heaven was real, she came back with "Of course silicon heaven is real. Where do you think all the calculators go?" 😁

AfterWorkReactions

Oh ok I will give it a quick listen and see if I can hear it, thanks for the info bud!

Mr K

Oh, I love this one. 🙂
