Dude listers head was insane , I love when it burst and landed on Cat . "I don't wanna live someone please shoot me in the head" lmao . I thought the person in the POD might actually be a chick . When lister got excited I was like oh no is this dude going to try to woo her while his head is still swollen lol. This was another good episode I really enjoyed it . Hope you folks are having a great Tuesday !!

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

Think this was a couple of years after the first appearance of the Borg. Patrick Stewart said he saw an episode and thought it was a rip off of TNG and was about to ring the lawyers but then as he watched more he really enjoyed it. Don’t think it’s ever been confirmed which episode it was but may have been this one.

"It's only a pity he's awake" lmao

I was going to say the same. I remember they had Patrick Stewart introducing "Red Dwarf Night" when he told that story and stopped dialling because something made him laugh. I'm surprised they've never been able to get him in an episode as i'm sure he would've been up for it. (although maybe he has made an appearance as I haven't watched the last two seasons yet - no spoilers!)

The look on Cat's face when he whacks the simulant with the shovel cracks me up every time!

Love Rimmers delivery on, "oh, THAT!", it was a good job Lister didn't listen to Rimmer otherwise he'd have shot himself in the back. Just realized Red Dwarf did the magnetic Prison boots before the movie "Face/Off"

This is the best season in my opinion (and 5) I remember I videoed this one back in the day and must have watched it 10+ times. And I reckon this is still all before Josh was born. And BTW, the last Red Dwarf just aired last year, and they may make more, so by the time you finish this you're going to see these guys go from 25-year-olds to 60+.

One of my favourite episodes of all time I think. Cat always the best... "better late than never", lol. I do have a question for Josh, and his patreons: Have any of you ever considered writing a screenplay yourselves? For TV or Movies? I know its a random place to ask the question but seems like a good bunch of people here.

Mick Mills

Yeah man, it reminds of when he goes behind the bushes in the 'Backwards' episode. Slight tangent but I just started watching 'Death in Paradise' and see Danny John Jules is in it. If I had known he was in it I would have watched it when it started.

glad you like the cat so much he is a great character

As Alex says, the are older in the more recent Red Dwarfs, but the scripts just keep getting better and better, even the most recent ones :)

Thanks for including all the link options, Josh. We all appreciate it I'm sure. Also note for everyone, if you right click on the mediafire download link and copy link address, you can open it as a network stream in VLC.

Craig Charles in this was the kind of guy I wanted to be when I was a kid lol. Al Bundy was another one I thought was really cool, and Homer Simpson. I have the crap job part nailed, I never did have any kids.... but I do live like a slob and I get home to a beer and watch TV.

I love Lister's tie. He really tried to put on a good impression for the court

Always remember watching this one as a kid with my dad, both of us laughing in anticipation of what Cat was going to do as he turned up late. Good times. One of my many favourite episodes.

I always thought to myself why didn’t they just put the pod in the airlock and wait for it to open. If it’s the simulant you just open the door on the other side and just blow it into space and if it’s the woman well then no harm no foul.
