Oh my christ love me some Gavin and Stacey!! Kind of like The Office and Extras Josh this is a show that gets you on an emotional level with the characters as well as being funny.

Says the poll has ended Josh? Also, I’m not sure if you have seen my previous comment? I don’t know if there is a glitch with the votes, last night after I voted come fly with me was around 340 votes however I checked this morning and it was on like 280. I don’t know what’s happened and why 60 votes disappeared?

I think it's just ended early by mistake, maybe he set it to end on the wrong date by accident. Got excited for Gavin and Stacey aswell, he will prob start the poll again after this

Looks like the top runners from last poll are all ahead again. Gavin and Stacey is the best of the frontrunners, or The Royle Family, but I think TRF is a bit too slow and laconic for a reactions video series. Obviously, now that we've seen the shows that almost everyone agrees are great, it's going to be a lot more split, things like Mr Bean where some love it and some loathe it.

Gavin and Stacey is very good but will keep saying that it's a travesty Spaced is going to get overlooked. No Spaced and there was is no Shaun of The Dead or Hot Fuzz. Both of them are deeply rooted in spaced

Uggh I'd rather not watch either of the frontrunners. Gavin and Stacey is overrated and Come Fly with Me is just awful. Would like Josh to finish watching the Linehan shows with Black Books or to watch Spaced or even an old show again like Porridge

They're more like sketch shows which Josh says are more suited to YouTube. If individual sketches are mentioned as being worth viewing they get posted there.

I really do think Derek and After Life are a sharp drop in quality from The Office and Extras but I can see certain bits might be enjoyable for Josh. I think Black Books is perfect for Josh, completely his SOH given how much he loved the other Linehan-penned shows such as Father Ted and The IT Crowd. I know Josh has got on well with Phoenix Nights and I don't worry so much about the jokes / subtlety of The Royle Family as I do the pace and complete lack of plot. I adore the show (Well, series 1-3 and The Queen of Sheba... it's a bit lacklustre after that) but I can just tell it probably wouldn't be Josh's thing... I could be wrong! He was lukewarm about The Office but grew to love it, so... The Thin Blue Line would be right up Josh's street I think! Gavin & Stacey is far better than Derek IMHO. Both seem to be level-pegging at the moment. Come Fly with Me is a guilty pleasure of mine. I didn't like Little Britain at all but admittedly CFWM is less gross-out and lazy, even if it is equally as silly. The League of Gentlemen is a masterpiece but I can't see it winning. Always had a less mainstream appeal, very BBC2, all the better for it IMHO!

I can't believe how much this is blowing up. The one with the most votes is the one most people want to watch. Not who shouts the loudest. We get 28 reactions a month for a couple of quid. Bargain even if you only like 1 show. Everyone needs to just chill. 😎

I cast my votes, that's all I can do! But just for the sake of offering my opinion, I think Black Books is a perfect choice as it's very much the same type of humour as Father Ted and IT Crowd and they both went down very well already. I personally prefer Father Ted over Black Books, but I favour Black Books over IT Crowd, still love IT Crowd though. Spaced would be a great choice as Josh has already watched the Cornetto Trilogy and Spaced is the series that started it all, it has a short run too with less than 15 episodes I believe. I'm actually a bit surprised it hasn't gotten more support here. It may be time I stop trying to push for KMKY, if it didn't happen at the time IAP was chosen it probably wont be chosen now! Surprised to see The Mighty Boosh is gone from the poll, I would have thought that was a popular choice. I hope to see it back next time. I may be in the minority with this, and that's fine, but to me, the best of Ricky Gervais is now various youtube clips, Derek's ok but it's a massive step down from The Office and Extras, Life's Too Short has some very funny moments, but apart from those few funny moments the show itself wasn't very memorable. I'd probably watch a Derek reaction, at least the first couple of episodes to see if it grabs me, but I think I'll be much more excited to see a 5 minute reaction to Rockbusters on youtube than to a new Gervais series! I really enjoyed Hello Ladies but haven't seen it in years, I'd be happy to see it on here but I'm not too disappointed it's not doing so well. League of Gentleman, I found it a bit hit and miss, but the hits are real hits, so I voted for that, I think that would be a good one to react to. Love the Royle Family, great show, but I don't know if it's a show to react to, we're basically watching people watch TV anyway! don't know if we need to make it meta! but I'd watch it again. Watched a bit of Gavin & Stacy a few years ago, all I remember from it is Rob Brydon, I remember thinking it was funny, but he's the only thing I remember from it! Love Darkplace, but it would surprise me if it's voted in, having said that these last couple of polls have surprised me so anything can happen! A final thought, I mentioned this before, but a show like Taskmaster doesn't need it's entire catalogue to be committed to, you can react to one season, it doesn't even matter which season, as long as the episodes are watched in order. I know this could be complicated trying to figure out a system in which one season can be voted for, but it's worth considering if other patrons agree. I say this for Josh's sake because it's a really great show, I feel bad if he feels he can't watch it until a majority of us decide!

I just started task master a month ago and its brilliant! Great suggestion! I hope for more Alan too one day, thoughts on this country? Maybe at some point Josh could do a free night where he decides, dealers choice if you like... base it off of what he likes, you know..

I’ve never heard of black books and only seen a bit of farmer ted, I struggle with the humour just can’t really get in to it, but I am younger so maybe that’s why but always happy to try new comedy’s :)

It's only a matter of time before we're smearing on the war paint and charging with the flags of our favourite shows. Think i'd approach the "To the Manor Born" lot, those were wasted votes. I try to resuscitate What We Do In The Shadows, but there's no use, it's gone, died with only a few votes to it's name... i'll have to tell it's wife the bad news... Patreon never Changes

I think of all the flaws of Patreon’s poll system it might be the better option overall, even if allows fewer options than a third party one

Ffs there is no way these poll results are legit. 5000 vote also seems slightly excessive. The fact that Derek has got a major surge in votes over night raises a red flag. At the end of the day, I don’t really care what wins as long as it’s legit. Sorta feel sorry for Josh aswell as he is trying to please everyone and is trying to make it as fair as possible but is getting ruined by poll spammers. This is why I think we should use the patreon poll as it only allows one vote per person on multiple shows and doesn’t allow outside parties to vote. Bearing in mind this is the first time this has happened because the last poll got done on patreon and Brass Eye as the winner had 200/300 something votes which seems like the numbers add up. Very disappointed. There is literally 6 slots for shows so everyone’s show will get picked eventually.

Its a poll on a patreon to decide which show josh is gping to react to ffs not an election to decide the next US president, seriously do you honestly believe there are ppl out there that have the time or are that bothered to want to rig a patreon reaction channel poll, please grow up

Good to see Gervais stuff up there and I like Gavin and Stacey also. I remember Come Fly with me as being more of a sketch show than a series although I never watched all of them.

It’s a Sketch show with a few short sketch stories running through the episodes. Decent enough to watch for a reaction. 6 episodes aswell won’t take up too much space.
