This movie was hilarious I don't really know where to start with this review. I kept reading the subtitles and laughing before the joke was finished lol. This entire movie was filled with fantastic scenes and showed how great Sacha is at relentlessly trolling everyone. People were absolutely right the clips are not enough to truly respect how amazing he is at trolling people. Don't get me wrong the clips crack me up but this movie was fantastic. I don't know if I can handle the second one. I was told the second movie is even funnier. My chest hurt after laughing so hard. There were moments where I was like dude stop I need a break to breathe lol. When he was fighting his producer naked in the hotel I lost it.  This was such a great movie !!!

I loved this movie so much when it came out, the second sucked though. It was too edited, to the point of being false and nasty against ordinary working people. The scene with Rudy as well had nothing in it, but they edited it to make It look really bad. I didn't even know who he was because I'm not from the US, so being unbiased there... it was nothing. It also made me worry about the Frat boys in the first film, like they were saying stupid stuff when being drunk teens. I'm sure they've grown up now... but I wonder were their lives ruined from it? And the "Throw The Jew Down the Well " thing, it just seemed like people being polite to a foreign national. They probably thought "he's from a different culture, let's just sing along", but the movie tried to make them all look like bad people.

Pamela was in on it, she addressed it in an interview some time ago. I love all these interactions, can’t help feel sorry for the old Jewish couple though 😆 I think most of what you have reacted to in the past is from ‘Who Is America?’.

Pamela was in on that scene. They had to film it twice because the first time noone tried to stop him. The second time (the one in the film) she broke her jaw because of the fans trying to stop Borat. Even worse she also got divorced because of the movie. The second one isn't as funny, but still good. Can't wait to see you watch it.

The second one is in some ways even better. Fantastic film, scabrous, hilarious, even more cutting than the first. SBC is a genius, and it's been funny watching the same people who laughed unironically along with Borat's anti-semitism and misogyny in the first film having minor tantrums because he made fun of their small-mindedness in the sequel.

Those people were probably just trying to be friendly to him, just assuming he was from another culture and he needs to learn. They edited out all the interactions he had with people, just put in that song. They were also singing and the Jew thing was throw in the Chorus, he wasn't upfront about it. Meanwhile in New York did you see how unfriendly those people were? I'd be more worried of them lol.

Haven't seen this for years!! Azamat was fantastic in this! The actor was such a good sport considering what landed on his face!! He was speaking Armenian throughout and Sasha was speaking Hebrew??? I might be wrong🤭 amazing double act

What's funny is he finds the Baywatch at that house... obviously she's in on it because what are the chances? Stuff like that makes you realise how fake and highly edited it is. While it is funny, I don't think people should be condemned.... although the guy saying he wanted to hang gays.... probably not a nice guy.

Sacha Baron Cohen had absolute balls of steel man 😂 His other works are good but because of the success of Borat SBC became so much more well known so being able to move with anonymity during filming became more difficult. So often I dont feel the reactions were as genuine as this film as they knew who he was.

Pretty sure i read somewhere that the 2 of the 3 guys from the motorhome part actually lost their jobs or scholarships and made a public apology of some kind. Could be wrong but i did research it a while ago now.

I think some of the scenes they must have used actors, or at least people that were in on it. The way there were multiple camera angles in confined spaces and no other camera operator accidentally got in shot. If there were genuine scenes, They basically showed Americans to be generally very patient and respectful of Borat’s views, whether they agreed or disagreed with him (aside from the rodeo crowd lol). Still very funny though. Not seen it for years, but I think Ali-G in Da house is a bit of a flop from what I remember.

Ali-G is a great movie, definitely worth a watch but I think you need to be ready for a fully scipted movie as opposed to most of his other stuff like Borat

The genuine worry and panic in your eyes in certain scenes, when not knowing what is about to come out of his mouth in reference to jews and gays is priceless We have learned over the months that your way of making it clear that you dont condone the opinions of those you are hearing on shows and movies,is to say "they need their asses beat"

Watching Josh shake his head in disgust at Borat getting his crotch dried by Bagatov and thinking, dude wait till you see what those guys do in the bedroom later...
