ROUNDUP: September, Week 1 (Patreon)

A day early this week, since I'll be gone all day tomorrow visiting family on the other side of the state.

1. Discovery (commission of Dang, a Runescape character)

Glad I can share this piece! I spent all last week and part of this week on it, and even though I know it's not the type of work that people who follow me are most excited about it, I'm proud of what I was able to do. The combination of painted and cel-shaded elements, along with the dramatic lighting, were challenging -- but I think I pulled it off.

This was the first step in finally clearing my backlog of commissions/projects, and I'm hoping that I can continue this progress for awhile yet.

I have a medical procedure on Friday next week to take care of some bad veins in my legs and I'm not sure how I'll be feeling after that, so I'll post the Roundup a day early then, too.
