Episode 3 - Your glass is always half empty. (Patreon)

As we've mentioned, Episode 3 has tons of story options that will allow you to customize your character. One of those options will enable you to define your character's general outlook on life. The decision you make will have a subtle impact on your story from time to time.

Last week we shared one of the descriptive paragraphs that you might see if your character is one of those people who always seem to be happy no matter the circumstances. It's great, but let's face it: A pessimist is just an optimist with life experience.

Here is the same paragraph if your character tends to look at life with faded, rose-colored sunglasses with an extra coating of dark tint:

Autonomous repair bots were swarming over the surface of the cruiser. Sheet by metal sheet, they were covering up the tired ship's insides, like coroners stitching a cadaver back together.

These alternating descriptions will be used from time to time, where we feel they'll have the most significant impact on the player. We've been having a blast writing these, and we're excited to share more with everyone!
