I missed these reactions :). Also I can't hate any of the girls fighting for Issei just because none of his relationships are official (to my knowledge?? let me check the end of season 1 again xD), AND Issei still wants to be the harem king at this point. Rias is trying to "put a ring on it" just like everyone else lol (beyonce reference). Sadly love can be a battlefield. She's not the only one who has feelings for him, and It's not easy to ignore someone that you really feel like you love. I hope I'm never in a situation like this irl where my friend falls in love with the same person that I do, and no relationship is established. It would definitely suck. It's hilarious in rom-com anime form though 😂. Also the hatred that you two are showing the other girls is so funny tbh I was laughing so much during these reactions xD. Well a thing that should be considered is that Rias is a Devil and is the one that encouraged Issei'a dream of a harem. Polygamy and polyamory in all it's forms, be it polygyny or polyandry (though one is more common than the other), be it concubines and lovers or multiple wives/husbands, are normal in Devil Society. Rias own mother is the daughter of a mistress and Rias father is said to have a harem of concubines. So Rias doesn't actually have a problem with the idea of Issei having a Harem by itself, as she hinted at its her position in it that is a problem. She feels that her relationship with Issei hasn't really progressed since the end of Vol 2/season 1 while he has grown closer to other girls, even closer then he her. It saidly get's lost in translation, especially in the dub but Issei hasn't once called her by her name since joining the ORC. Nevertheless he calls Asia and Xenovia by name and even Akeno is "Akeno-senpai" and now she got him to just call her "Akeno" in private. The way you call someone is a quite important indication of the relationship of two people in japanese. Furthermore he always chooses a very respectful way of speaking when talking to Rias, while being more casual with the others, which is also seen as an indicatior for your relationship with someone. That's why she says she is the "furthest away".
