Whew, yeah, lots to talk about. (Fun note about watching Goblin Slayer, this episode of SAO and the first episode of Goblin Slayer aired either the same day, or the same weekend.) I made the mistake of starting this episode around midnight, assuming it was a normal episode. Needless to say i was very sleepy the next day. I always assumed this was a double episode because it had been 4 years since season 2, so it was a welcome back. But it may also have been so they didnt have to have a full lore dump for the first two or three episodes. Imagine if the first episode had ended when Kirito woke up crying. We would have been SO confused. But yeah it was that mention of the Augma that made me say you needed to watch the movie before this. (since i had forgotten what the augma WAS when i rewatched this and the movie a few weeks back), also Yuuna in the OP. The trailer had enough of the scene in the Dicey Cafe, of Kirito explaining the STL, that it would have ruined your experience of the first half of the episode. Although since it had been 4 years since the Anime had ended, i assume, that they assumed, the fans had been reading the novels, and knew what was coming. When i told you that you would see the new animation stuff pretty quick, i was thinking specifically of that first scene in GGO. Particularly after Asuna and Kirito jump out and go all Lightsaber-y. Oh and here are the character's ages (these ages apply to this arc, and season 2.) Agil 30 Klein 25 Asuna 18 Liz 18 Kirito 17 Suguha 16 Sinon 16 Silica 15 ----------------- On the subject of other Isekai worth the watch. Rising of the Shield Hero is good, you may need your bat handy though (First season 25 episodes is out, second season is in the works). I would also recommend Log Horizon (its third season, is due to start in january...after a six year drought, both original seasons are 25 episodes). And i know Felix has mentioned Overlord, I would second that recommendation. Re:Zero has kinda set the world on fire with its popularity, i need to watch it as well. Grimgar of Shadow and Ash is a short one (12 episodes), that kinda divides the community. Some people love it, some people hate it, but its certainly worth the watch, whether or not its worth a REWATCH, is all that should be debated in my opinion, lol). -------------- (if reading this outloud, you can stop here) I think i will reply to this one with a...longer...post about some of the reasons people hate SAO, and how they are both right and wrong.

Hey AAOG team - currently the video still has not finished processing (I assume because it's so large). Is it possible to try to upload the videos earlier so that they are available when you share the links? If not it's ok, I am just excited to see the reaction!

can't wait until you get to see war of the underworld

All the video games are connected but the story is slightly different and has other characters so a slightly different continuity.

The Movie is cannon and yes the movie is connected to the season and you're in for a lot of surprises

In my opinion the whole entire Alicization arc (what you're watching now and war of the underworld which is part of the Alicization arc) is the best

Also hint for you, everything you hear is important.

CatDuckChu

alicization is the best arc and you cant tell me otherwise

CatDuckChu
