Alright folks! Your boys Aggi (Loot Tavern), Humperdink, , and Jess Jackdaw coming at ya with a mega collab - we're doing a monster hunting kickstarter!

Heliana’s Guide to Monster Hunting is a 5e supplement with 10 deadly one shots, each playable at 3 different levels, that’ll provide you with harvesting and crafting rules. Here’s some highlights:

• 10 monster hunts, each a multi-wave encounter, and each playable at 3 different levels.
• 110+ original items & illustrations
• 50+ new monster statblocks and illustrations
• 10 boss monsters: fully-illustrated twists on classic D&D monsters, like the Aboleth Broodmother, Magnetite Dragon, and Sunmouth Owlbear. Unique lair actions and abilities!
• 10 new familiars, crafted from the blood of the boss monsters!
• Harvesting rules for all creature types.
• Crafting recipes for all SRD magic items and the 110 new items in the book.
• Tracking rules for finding the monster’s lair.

Monster Hunting: Marco. These hunts work on a ‘marco-polo’ rhythm. The ‘marco’ is the investigation step; asking NPCs what they know about the monster, having interactions with creatures en-route to the lair etc. In the final book, we’ll also have a heap of random encounters as well as tracking rules for using skill checks to find the monster’s lair.

Polo. The ‘polo’ section is the fight. Hopefully the players will have gathered enough info to give themselves some tactical advantages against the boss. Each encounter has multiple waves in quick succession; your players must manage their resources to remain strong until the end!

This PDF is a taste of the magic in store in the kickstarter. You can run this as a one-shot (mayyyybe a two-shot) at 5th, 11th, or 17th level. It’s still undergoing playtesting so think of this as an intermediate version of the adventure. If you have any feedback, let us have it!

Deadly. The three-wave boss battle contained herein uses the full day’s adventuring XP. Make sure your party iswell-equipped for a protracted fight!
