Woahh.. didn't know you were into retro tech like this!

Anonymous

Lemmings has the best soundtrack I’ve heard in a long time

Anonymous

the ios home bar was at the bottom of some of the footage lol

TOM BOMBEM

Anonymous

Fender bender sounds like a nickname for a blonde, 16 years old girl, that just got her drivers license.

Anonymous

This is stressful somehow

Thomas Gray

Universe has synchronised, got 2 patreon emails and both about Apple IIs

Anonymous

These games are the standards for AAA games today

Anonymous

I don't know why but this reminds me so hard of my mom playing Spyro for the first time on my Playstation in 1998 ^^

Anonymous

That machine needs retrobrighting.

An Apple /// monitor with an Apple IIe? Neat! BTW you might want to replace the Rifa caps in the Apple IIe's power supply. When they age they have a habit of letting out magic smoke that smells worse than Frank. Ask me how I know.

Anonymous

Tom Bombem looks like an interesting game. Crazy someone would still make an apple II game in 2013 (also the C version's source is pretty cool).

Anonymous

My god mate, it's an apple poo

Colin Martin

My grandmother finally gave up her Apple II and dot matrix printer because a local museum heard that she had one and offered to trade her for a brand new macbook pro and laser printer. They're now chilling in a tech museum because she had the original boxes and it was pristine.

Colin Martin

side question - have you picked up a pair of KZ-crinacle IEM's to review? I grabbed a pair because they're stupid cheap ($35) and holy wow they're stunningly good. Almost might say I like them as much as my planar hifiman HE4xx's.

Anonymous

But can it run Crysis?

Anonymous

Forget Crysis, what about Doom Eternal?

Anonymous

Will it run Shrek?

Guys I'm starting to think this might not even be the same Lemmings that was made by the GTA3 guys... 🤔

If You Can Think It You Can Do It

When is the video about the macintosh se comming Ive been collecting the compact macs for years and I want the stocks to go up bc I have 14 of them

If You Can Think It You Can Do It

Lets just say I fix the drives recap the boards and also install ulra scsi drives in them. Dont worry I take good care of them my se 30 I use for wav files to play music on which is sweet af I got it for a trad in with a normal se and I fixed it up. Lets just say it kicks ass bc alot of those fail bc they were made cheap as hell sometimes even with a full recap and ultra sonic cleaning they dont come back. I have every model except for the original 128k and the color classic 2

God, that was my first computer. I had a bunch of hand me down floppy disks with no labels and I would spend hours sifting through them. I still remember having my mind actually blown playing Stellar 7. "IT'S ACTUALLY 3D! MOM LOOK!!"

Anonymous

Appreciated the Kid Pix reference. That was the best in elementary school!

Anonymous

Reminds me of Strongbad’s first compy. Before the 386.

Anonymous

That guys manky old website is so fun to just absorb lol

Anonymous

What a beast. Now we have way better tech in our pockets.

Anonymous

you should really try to get scarlet fire on vinyl, it would be great fun!!

Anonymous

If you want to play old apple 2e game on your computer. here's how. Download Waterfox classic internet browser. The website only works in this browser. Go to www.virtualapple.org instill the browser plugin. browser games. Start playing.

somecallmesean_

i'd want you to load games from an ipod lol

Of all the twists I was suspecting from dank, becoming a retro computing youtuber was not on that list. Only a matter of time before he's fixing C64s to make SIDchip remixes at this rate.

AlexKorobeiniki

HOLY HELL. The website under the picture of Tom Bombem IS STILL UP. Vince Weaver is still updating the "What's new" section. What a legend.

Anonymous

as a giant tech nerd; omg yes!

Anonymous

A Kid Pix reference!!

Anonymous

Wade, as Vintage computer collector, I suggest you invest in a stand for that monitor. Pairing the Apple III monitor with an Apple II is fine, but you're supposed to use the Apple III monitor stand with it, i have one if you need the model number

Lemmings in Apple 2 be like:

Also, most games that use the keyboard need the Caps lock to be down to work

Great! Dank Game Reviews, DGR, the aussie LGR! :P

Anonymous

When you said kid pix that caused my brain to explode with memories and nostalgia

Anonymous

Idk if it’s because I was born in 1999 but computers from this era confuse the dingus out of me

Anonymous

I wanna binge the After Shows - is there some sorta official playlist I can look at?

Anonymous

Proper stuff

Anonymous

Why didn’t you use the Diablo to download programs. Give it the highest quality sniff test?

Anonymous

Great monitor 3 but you should try it on an old color TV, the 2e has color output

Anonymous

Ah, memories. In first year college I learned Basic and Pascal programming on an Apple II computer. Are you ready? Dual floppies, mate. And an 80x24 character screen. Monochrome and chunky.

Anonymous

I just open his video uploads page and sort by oldest to newest... just don't close the tab

Anonymous

Don't need a dongle if your phone isn't designed by idiots who emphasize form over function

Anonymous

Getting some LGR vibes here. Good I like that.

Anonymous

I'm disappointed Wade didn't boot up Oregon Trail and die of dysentery

Anonymous

man the year 2025 is so far away but im sure by then we'll have flying cars

Anonymous

This is honestly public channel worthy, was crying laughing midway

Anonymous

I really like the sorta vibe that vintage computers give off, so this video was really nice to watch.

Anonymous

An Apple III monitor! cool!

Anonymous

Fender bender is just like Dodge 'Em on the Atari 2600. Pretty fun and intense as far as those games go...

Anonymous

I actually have an Apple II clone that someone built in the 70’s. Great fun with a SD card diskette drive emulator.

Anonymous

Hey totally unrelated to this but a while back you showed the oneodio A70 headphones but never made a video on it and I was wondering if you still had them?

Anonymous

maybe left and right on the joystick were twist controls

Anonymous

I thoroughly enjoyed this, should get an old iMac G3 perhaps? plenty of garbage you can do with those bright plastic lumps of joy.

Anonymous

Awh yeah, getting into my neck of the woods now!

Anonymous

Personally I prefer the Commodore 64 b/c it has color and sound but this is good too.

Anonymous

Heck yeah man love the game choices LOL

Anonymous

That's not a nugget, that's a whole chicken. I love the sound of old keyboards too, so clacky.

Back when apple supported gaming

Anonymous

I graduated high school (that would be called secondary school in some places, 12 years in others) in 1990. When I was in 8th grade (so 1994-85), we had 2 of these in my maths classroom, we were each given 15 minutes per week to work on an art project while learning BASIC. Younger people today seem to think it odd that and old fart like me knows how to work today's technology, and my response is, "Honey, I grew up alongside it, and I ain't done growing yet."

Anonymous

The Apple II is from the 70's. I grew up in the 90's in far east russia. The computers we had at that time were worse than this. Most of them didn't even have support for color or sound.
