Some lego sets come with side builds next to the main one as decoration, i have a bunch of ninjago sets and some of em come with like bushes and boulders and stuff that you gotta build on the side

When I was young I wanted to be a Lego model designer when I grew up, I was obsessed with brickfilms on YT, and the Lego Star Wars II video game was my favorite video game. We have a closet full of the collection my brother and I accrued over the years with every piece sorted by piece type in tackle boxes. (Took days off from homeschooling sorting them, my mom was awesome) Lego is pure nostalgia and creativity in my eyes. I think it’s impact on me may have been one of the reasons why I was drawn towards studying a creative field like graphic design. Its funny how a simple piece of plastic can influence someone.

I'm a graphic designer and I can definitely trace my roots to Lego (pirate, castles, 90s shit). It made me think in dimensions and had tangible results. I recommend getting into 3d modelling (like blender) as you might already have some of the soft-skills needed.

If you set the speed to 0.25 and then hold space on the timelapse you can watch him make the t rex in real time

That discolored spot is actually normal, that's from the injection molding process that they use to make Lego.
