For the first one i had an urgent idea of sketching out a fresh Cleanser who's crossing the line between our and Matrix World for the first time. Cleansers are sivalaary who sacrifice their own energy by venturing out into the Matrix World and removing negative energy from its flow. Most contagious is energy from a trapped consciousnesses (think of Xera if he was not revived with a body, but stayed as a plain matrix), which is different to the Matrix dimension and causes decay of energy chains, which can lead to nearby "door" centres falling apart, thus making certain matrices in our world unresponsive to any commands, and being turned into a dull, useless spheres overall. When a new matrix sphere is being formed in our world, in the Matrix World forms a sort of cube shaped "shadow gate" of it, via which energy travels between the two worlds. When a spaceship of Ancients' origin is being assembled, a cluster of those cubes comes together in the Matrix World, forming an energy efficiency way of transferring the data between those gates. In a way, Matrix World mirrors motions of all the matrices in our world, so when one ship comes into a close proximity to another they can merge into one, larger, vessel. Matrices can also communicate with one another over any distance, but the interaction is limited to small amounts of data, that means one cannot control a spaceship while being in another galaxy. It is also possible for non sivalaary to traverse the Matrix World, but the price is very high for that, and that is one that the Ancients themselves paid a long, long time ago... But that is a story for another time.
