Wendigos are creatures from Native American mythology. They appear in quite a few fantasy shows, such as Supernatural, Teen Wolf, or Grimm. The girl in this episode was played by singer Christina Milian, who was quite famous for a while in the 2000's. She's perhaps best known for her 2002 single "When You Look at Me".
