I’m sorry but I just never understood the hype when it came to Cami and her relationship with Klaus. Yes, I am a klaroline shipper but I’m also a Klaus multi-shipped. I shipped Klenevieve, Klayley, Klaurora, and Klefan. Hell I even crack ship Bonnie and Klaus. Kat and Joseph both ship Bonnie and Klaus in the beginning before klaroline became a thing. (fun fact once Joseph got caught reading klonnie fanfiction) Like I want it be know that I didn’t just dislike Cami because she got in the way of klaroline. If we getting technical every girl that look at Klaus got in way of klaroline and I somehow managed to like them.

I'm the same with Klamille. I honestly always felt they'd work better as friends. It might be partly because Cami also acts as his Therapist and the idea of a Therapist and their Client dating makes me uncomfortable. But I also just feel like they'd work better as friends. Like you, I ship Klaus with a lot of other characters. Klaroline is #1 for me, but I love Klaurora and Klayley too. I love Cami as a character (most of the time...) but I just never felt it between her and Klaus the way so many people do... As friends, I LOVE them. But lovers? It just never really clicked for me...

I also never like Cami as a character by herself. It’s kinda hard to ship something when you don’t like both characters. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Also this might sound ironic lol coming from someone who don’t like them because I’m not complaining about it but we would go episodes and episodes without them having a scene. Like they barely had more moments then klaroline. I think that one of reasons why I can rewatch this show over and over again. Also watch people reaction to it because the ship never felt that important or like the main focus. It easy to get through it.

I personally don't see how you can't love them, just the way Klaus looks at her and wants to protect her, they may go episodes without talking but that's kind of expected in a show with so many characters, it just makes their scenes more impactful to me. I feel like every conversation they have is so interesting, and while a lot of that may come from Klaus' history and flaws, the way that Camille is able to carry herself with him is so refreshing to see in a character you would expect to be self-righteous. I also like seeing her admit to her scary feelings about him and tackle them in complicated yet mature ways. Obviously it's okay if you don't like them, I just saw the opportunity to praise my girl cami and ran with it 😂

I think the originals is mainly based around the bond Elijah and klaus have. Every character in the show goes episodes without updates of them. Klaus and Elijah are the constant ones and usually the ones plans and dilemmas circle around. But I agree, personally i believe they did an amazing job building the chemistry between cami and klaus. I mean the only reason klaus changed so much was due to his love for cami. I think many liked them as friends because as friends nothing was complicated and as soon as they became a thing or wanted to, they had the misfortune of terrible things happening to both that made things not turn out so great add that with other things that won’t be spoiled and you have an interesting change to their dynamic. But don’t think it was due to their chemistry and more so because of the writing and obvious outside forces that won’t be spoiled. I love Caroline but imo cami was a perfect match for klaus due to her understanding of klaus and her active actions to help klaus and always give him the benefit of the doubt due to her maturity and faith she had in him.

I don’t mind lol my friend who got me to watch this show loves Cami. She was really disappointed when I didn’t like her. Also all the reactors reactions that I paid for likes her lol so clearly I can deal with it.

Sameee I didn’t like her in a romantic relationship with Klaus at all since she was his therapist. most of the time I felt like she had weird power dynamic over him since she was his therapist and these relationships are not allowed for a reason, and we could see that when she used information he told her during one of sessions against him when she stole the white oak horse. IMO they would have been amazing as friends, especially since I never felt the chemistry between the actors
