Girl when r u gonna watch House of the Dragon? After?

izzy

obviously after. Shes almost done with GOT, no point in pausing it now

borntrouble

Actually it was Jeffery that ordered the attempted murder of Bran. He had overheard Robert saying that since Bran was a cripple it was better to let him die

izzy

it is so obvious tyrion is holding her back from hurting his family but if he is so biased about it, he should of never bowed to her and sored to her as the queen. He's damaging her plans and stopping her from taking back what she knows is rightfully hers. I know she would be no different but cerisi has no care in the world to admit shes wrong or put her people first to prevent deaths but instead declares to continue with war so why not dany do the same and show her the same attitude cerisi showed with the wildfire. Did cerisi care for the citizens that died during that? nope.

Nana-Afia

Its difficult to establish new order when youre not in the ultimate position of power. Youre spot on about danys dilemma though. She wants to minimize innocent casualty but at a certain point, prolonging war is doing more harm in the long run. Tyrion is absolutely contributing majorly to this, and its frustrating to watch; for his and daenerys sake

izzy

fr i love tyrion but dude needs to leave or stick to being an actual hand to the queen. The fact that dany gave him the moment to tell the truth if these plans are making him feel a type of way cuz its his family but he chooses to deny it and continue to ruin her plans to protect or give mercy to his evil sister

Lucas

Robert's worst nightmare...The Dothraki on an open field hahaha

Lucas

Bringing the dragon in the fight is pretty much the medieval equivalent of bringing over a nuclear weapon to a sword fight..Also in relation to flying to the Red Keep...You have to realize that the Red Keep sits in the middle of King's Landing, she can't exactly fly there and conquer it on her own least she is just ready to burn it down but she wants to actually sit the Throne and wants for it to remain intact- and committing to full fledged assault result in having to overtake the city which brings immediate war to the entire place and risk of citizen casualty which is what they are trying to avoid, so wherever we think she should attack or not, it's not that simple I guess

Nana-Afia

The keep is not in the middle of KL. It was specifically built on the coast so it would be difficult to seige on foot.

Lucas

I mean....Coast or not, middle is a figure of speech, same logic applies obviously ...She can't siege it on her own with the Dragons least she wants to destroy it, and they are not breaking through the doors of the The Red Keep without overtaking the entire city before then...Not to mention their navy is also gone so there could be no assault on BlackWater bay and even probably have problems carrying troops over to the mainland now...They wanted the Tyrells and Dornish to march over there but that plan is gone now...

Lord Tarley: “Dickon” SoFie & Bronn: 😂😆🤣

Sean Stuart

Sean Stuart

I remember watching this episode the first time with several people cramped into a small bedroom drinking a beer or two snacking and hollering. It was a fun night. The rest of that season maybe just my roommate or a couple of us. This the red wedding with a very good friend I was living with and his mom and dad all in shock. The door by myself in my office - crying, season 5 finale with housemates after I moved out of my friends house her crying and me and her husband theorizing, this one as mentioned at winter employee housing at ski resort. Then an episode at a bar back home in final season I will always remember those nights.

Nana-Afia

I have to disagree, when speaking about location, middle is not the same as the actual position of the keep. The rest of what youre saying makes sense tho - shes suffered too many strategic losses before this battle, so her remaining choices are dwindling.

Lucas

We are not disagreeing lol Middle and is not the same as the coast I agree, I simply was using the term middle to say it's in the same general location as King's Landing proper, you can't take one without the other as it regards the keep and the city-

Meera is leaving 'cause D&D didn't know what to do with her

Tyrion, in the books, had only 1 goal after killing his father. Destroy House Lannister at all cost. Sad what they did with my favorite character.
