Are we forgetting that it takes three days for the venom to work Marcel could have saved them cuz the wolves bit them but left them they didn’t burn them, stake them or beheaded them there was still time to save them Marcel said as much after he took Hope Klaus caught up to Marcel and Marcel told him there should have been more time for Klaus to heal them. It’s a fact Mikael murdered them all.

Davina is walking around lien this is a game. The moment she releases Mikael so he can kill Klaus he’s murdering her first cuz she made him weak and he was her slave the one thing I don’t do to Mikael is mess with his pride and she did that.

Everyone is always quick to judge Elijah for what he does, people love to ignore EVERYTHING he has sacrificed for his family, he’s given up his siblings fin and kol for klaus, he’s given up love in his past and now present for klaus and he’s as seen given up a relationship he genuinely cherished with marcel up for klaus. Think Elijah wanted to preserve marcels innocence which is why he treated him as a type of parental figure once he was a kid but eventually had to give it for klaus’s salvation, and because of that marcels and Elijah’s relationship has never been the same and marcel hates Elijah to an extent because he never found out why Elijah turned on him out of nowhere and I think Elijah even after all that still cared for marcel to an extent but once Elijah found out the part marcel had in bringing back mikael he lost a lot of that care he had as it led to the breaking of their family because of klaus and Rebekah but yes it’s sad to see how Elijah gave up marcel through all those flashbacks

Cole is def an interesting and complex character. He is not a mamma's boy like Finn lol - hence why he didn't tell them about Micheal. The mother obvi has no care for Cole considering the whole "your here by my grace thing" and Cole did not take too kindly to that. Overall, I love how we get to see the other original bothers this season and expand on the family dynamics of that

This episode is why Klaus never wanted Rebekah with Marcel. Klaus knew one of his siblings would want to turn Marcel something Klaus NEVER wanted to happen. Klaus lied to Marcel he was never going to turn him. Marcel knew that so when he went to free the slaves his biological dad had he was the one who got violent first. It makes I wonder if Marcel knew getteij shot and almost killed was the only way Klaus would ever turn him so it makes u wonder was that Marcels plan along cuz he could have went to the authorities to get those slaves free or he could have had Klaus do it.

Also Rebekah annoys the crap out of me she is still crying over Emil Marcels slave owning half brother Klaus did the world a favor by killing him. Also Rebekah wanted to turn Emil into a vampire before Klaus killed him Klaus knew Marcel being with Rebekah would have led to Rebekah turning Marcel eventually. That’s why he’s possessive of Klaus when it came to his family deep down he couldn’t trust any of them cuz they have fake human emotions Klaus doesn’t he was emotions cuz of his wolf side.

This episode is why many fans of the original family hate her with a passion I do. She literally knows why Klaus is the way he and she knows why vampires exist. Davina is Team Child Abuser and Team Creation of the monstrous vampires. I’m sorry davina the moment u brought back Mikael u lost the moral high ground like FOREVER. Think about it the wolves didn’t kill the vampires she sided with cuz of Marcel they were murdered by Mikael. So every she calls Klaus a monster she says it while Mikael’s standing on the side or her. Every person Mikael kills is 100% on her those people would still be alive cuz Mikael was the one who murdered them.

When Elijah stopped Mikael he really pissed me off do t help davina she wants to play in the adult world if she thinks she wants these problems especially Mikael’s problem let her be shown the error of her ways.

Klaus didn’t want Rebekah with marcel because of his abandonment issues, he made that clear the day he daggered Rebekah when he found her kissing marcel, he said “this will teach you on what you can and can not take from me”, klaus’s fear was always being abandoned so In his mind, Rebekah and marcel getting together made room for them loving each other more than klaus and eventually leaving him behind. Marcel going to free the slaves is much more of a plot point to have him shot, there was no indication that he was going to rebel towards his biological dad, he only did so because of all the cruel things his dad told him. Also don’t remember exactly but I believe marcel was already freeing the slaves and his biological dad came to stop him so for all we know he went when he thought his biological dad wasn’t there knowing something like this would happen, but no I don’t think marcel planned being shot, who would have thought that the mayor would shoot and kill someone an immortal entity cared for so much that he went to that mayors home and threatened to kill him if marcel wasn’t freed

Davina has every right to hate klaus, since klaus arrived to New Orleans he has tormented, attempted to kill and killed people she cares about. The werewolves tried killing the vampires that was the point of franchesca ordering every werewolve to hunt down the vampires and in her words “bite as many as you can” as the werewolf venom was supposed to kill them off it just so happened that mikael arrived to kill them before the venom did but the goal of the werewolves was to kill every last of the vampires. To davina she hasn’t lived the 1000 years to see all the bloodshed and abuse he’s done to klaus but to davina klaus is the biggest monster she’s witness and klaus has given her every reason to think that way so although I don’t agree with her having brought mikael back and having him under her control I can understand where she comes from and don’t blame her for doing everything she’s done up to this point as klaus hasn’t given her a reason to prove her image of the big bad monster she has of him wrong

Elijah is not in favor of having children harmed like marcel, on top of that he does have some sense of care for davina as he has shown when he tried helping and saved her in the past. Unlike other characters Elijah can understand where davina comes from as he’s seen what she’s had to suffer at a young age not just to the witches but his own family. I do agree it pissed me off seeing davinas reaction to being saved when she brought all the danger to herself and somehow looked at marcel as it was his fault when him and Elijah saved her but I don’t see why any anger should be held towards Elijah

Mikael wasn’t hunting anyone but Klaus. Kol could have stayed and he would have been fine. Klaus just doesn’t want to be abandoned and Elijah is thinking of always and forever.

Kol is my favorite Original so I was pretty stoked to see him back and thought Daniel Sharman did a really good job with the attitude and mannerisms. The accent is a bit different but I just tell myself he got that from the real Kaleb. At the point of that first flashback, I really don't think Mikael is a threat to or even really cares about Kol. Keeping the family together has nothing to do with their own safety. It's about Elijah and Klaus dictating how the whole family lives their lives. I suppose Klaus might also worry about what information Mikael could get out of one of the other siblings, but Kol/Rebekah/Finn are really just prisoners who sometimes have a good time with their captors.
