Davina is as bad an asshole in this show as Klaus, but without being particularly interesting or likable, so I would not have been sorry if she died here.

Interesting, well as of till now she has done most things within reason for being treated the way she has been and for the trauma she’s suffered at such a young age wouldn’t consider that being an asshole but interesting take 👍

I agree that her actions in this episode and before were somewhat understandable, but in the future, while I can partly understand why she does what she does her actions in my opinion merit the assessment I gave. Of course how you feel about her will also depend on who you root for in this show, but my point still stands.

I personally would Still disagree I won’t speak about the future to avoid spoiling for sofie but would be more than happy to help clarify anything she does as the season proceeds whenever you find her actions to be “asshole” as I believe at least 90% of what she chooses to do has reasonable backing to it. Also fair point, I don’t like rooting for anyone as I feel makes the show less enjoyable sticking to a single character or group. Like sofie I love understanding every character in why they do what they do even a villain as I think admiration can be found to each based upon how they were written. And in almost any conflict in this show compelling argument’s can almost always be made for all parties involved including villains
