Thank you everyone for your kind words and emotional support. Indeed, That scene was very emotionally triggering for me and it hits a pretty poor timing, specially that it caught me out of guard. I know that it's considered spoilery but in this case I appreciate the heads up for the next 2 episodes. Now I know what's coming and I can take my time and try to prepare for it. Because it will feel weird to just skip it, You know like something's off so I'm with you for the whole ride :) Plus, the only way out of the pain is through the pain so maybe it will be a healing experience for me. But can't promise that it's not gonna be a mess. So as we get through the next 2 episodes let's support each other.

This is a deeply emotional point in the series even aside from personal circumstances or wars, so know that we are all in this with you. I’ve seen this season more than a dozen times and it still causes me to break down.

Martin Waits

You are making the right decision. The rest of the season will not resonate in the same way if you skip the next two. While the next episode is painful, it is also universally considered one of the best in the series, so at least there is that. ❤

Whisper_dvm

We are all here for you. Sometimes it can be cathartic to go through these types of episodes in fiction as it allows us to process our own feelings in a “safe” environment. Hopefully it will be that way for you.

Sofie dear we all love you here. Sending you a big hug. ❤

I didn't want to comment on the reaction post because I wanted you to come to your own conclusion of it all, but I have to say I am happy you came to this decision exactly because of what Martin Waits over here wrote. Don't worry about it being a mess, I've watched that episode soo many times and I'm still always a mess, so in that case I'm gonna be a mess with you.<3 Also to me it helps to also focus on the brilliant way this is done and made, because as Martin also mentioned the episode is considered one of the best and in my personal opinion I consider it that as well. I don't know if that would be of any comfort but just wanted to mention it. Also as you and Whisper_dvm mentioned, maybe it can be some kind of healing, working through the hurt. And we will be here with you through it all. Sending tons of love your way.

I've always found these episodes to be therapeutic. The power of this TV show is that it can unite us in a shared loss. We can all mourn together as we are no longer alone in our grieving. I've been watching the videos from Ukraine today and my heart goes out to them and I mourn and I look forward to sharing these episodes with you so that we can all mourn together over a shared vision of humanity.

We're here with you through it. It's part of life and sometimes it helps to read it or see it on screen but that doesn't mean it's not hard. <3

Found my Dad the morning he died, and it’s really difficult to watch this, but for me, personally, it’s cathartic to cry. It’s not for everyone, my sister can’t watch these, so to each their own and we’re all here for you! ❤️❤️❤️

Sending love and healing🤍 I don't watch your reactions for this show but thank you for providing us with the content you do!

Hang in there Sofie - will be SUPER tough episodes to watch. I cry like a baby and i am an old man. FWIW, I think i they are some of the best Buffy episodes (if not the best) so worth pushing through the pain as you said.

You're a precious soul Sofie, we're all thinking of you 💓
