To answer your question about why the Dothraki have slaves...it is because slavery is not outlawed in the region where they roam. Slavery is however outlawed in Westeros AKA the seven kingdoms (which is where the Starks are and the Lannisters, etc). Westeros is basically a continent which hosts seven kingdoms - the North being one kingdom in it. Westeros is the country that Robert is the king of and that they took from the Targaryen family. The old king was Daenerys and Viserys father. Anyway, the Dothraki are not in the country of Westeros. They are across the sea to the East. The map in the intro song kind of shows this at the end. Hope that made sense!

I think that Ned would have wanted to keep his whole family with him and taken everyone but the other children had reasons that they couldn't go (while Arya didn't). For one, as he said "There must be a Stark in Winterfell" - so Rob, who is the oldest Stark (and will eventually inherit), has to stay. Then Bran can't b/c he's injured, and Rickon is the littlest, so he's prob too young to go and Jon Snow is going to the wall - plus he's a "bastard" and that wouldn't be considered proper to take him to the capital. Also, you asked why Jon's last name is Snow and not Stark. It is because it wouldn't be proper in this time/place to give a bastard your last name because he's not legitimate and he's not going to inherit from you or anything.

@jhan you have to watch the episode from one streamer carrying HBO Max in a window on you computer or the TV, I use my iPad. Then you watch Sofies reaction in another window It is easy to synchronize just look for the opening HBO fuzz lol. . It works great on a computer. If you use two devices like iPhone and iPad then it’s best with a little accessory you can get from Amazon for $25. That’ll let you mix the sound so you get Sofie and the show in 1 set of earbuds.At least that’s what I do It works really well. If you have 2 devices, search for 2 channel mixer on Amazon get a cheap one it’ll be good enough. Mine is an Mx-21 by Orelec. It’s real cheap but works just fine. .

HBO Max in my country doesn't have recaps, so I really appreciate that you left it unblurred during the recap :)
