Yes! I definitely am. BUFFYVERSE just exceeded my expectations in every way possible. It’s truly a master piece.

Comparing Spike and Angel/Angellus, I would definitely say that Spike is more romantic, affectionate, and human than not only Angel/Angellus but most other vampires in general. If you can remember back in season 2 when Drusilla resurrected the Judge he said that Spike "reeked of humanity". Something else that is interesting is that Spike is the only vampire we see that ever eats human food.

"No matter how good a boy you are, God doesn't want you...but I still do" One of my favorite lines in the entire Buffyverse.

Darla is 1000 times better on Angel than Buffy. Such a huge improvement in the writing and performance.

I was waiting to see if you noticed that angel didn’t have love. In season 2 of Buffy when spike brings the Judge he can’t burn angel because he has no humanity in him. Whereas spike and drusilla do. Normally a vampire has human in them which is why pure demons don’t like them they’re tainted, but Angels without a soul has no humanity, he truly couldn’t love her.

I never cared for that concept of a soulless being capable of loving. I think it's confusing and plot driven. I accept lust and loyalty but not love in the moral sense.

I was going off of what the judge had stated to dru and spike in season 2 of buffy he mentioned that they reeked of humanity, and he said angel had none. Then we get to the episode of angel where he helps the half demons in season 1 when the pure demon faction comes to kill them, and they literally hate vampires the most because they're considered tainted with humanity. I think your opinion is also possible Especially since he didn't love prior to becoming a vampire. what i had said was just what I perceived from the series. Unless he had love for his sister and mother. Lol also it kills me to try not to spoil anything for her.

If you think that this is an Oedipus Complex, I can't wait for you to see...something.

I was patiently waiting for this episode simply because of Juliet Landau (Drusilla) and I knew you were gonna be excited! Despite only being in the episode for a few minutes she’s so charismatic she grabs attention even when she’s not doing anything! It would’ve been a complete waste to not have her back on screen again after S2 of Buffy.
