I love this episode. The quotes, the music "stay away" is such a comfort song for me because of how comfort feeling this episode gave me and seeing peyton and brooke restarting their friendship to something better. "I know I said we can ever be friends like before" " But maybe we can be better" I love that quote.

I love this episode! I just love episodes where the whole group do something together. Like, I love episodes with separate storylines for the characters, pairing them up or whatever, too. But there's something about having them all together just makes me so happy. And I love seeing Chris Keller again. He started out as a character I couldn't stand, and became one of my favourites. Haha And I weirdly like the "friendship" between him and Nathan.

Also, all the stuff with Mouth. It's really sad, and it makes so much sense when you look at all his friends. I mean, we have Nathan and Haley who are married with a baby on the way. Lucas and Peyton who are in love with each other and clearly happy. And there was also Brooke and Lucas who were in love and (kinda) happy. And Skills and Bevin. He's surrounded by all these people who are his age and in these relationships with people they love and are serious about (or in Brooke's case, she was but isn't anymore. But she still had that love at some point.) And I honestly think he's trying to feel something like that. He probably feels left behind by his friends because they've all been properly in love and in these serious relationships, and he hasn't. And when you look at the personalities of Nathan and Lucas and Skills, they're all a lot different to Mouth. They're athletes, they're that typical cool Jock who could probably get most girls in the School if they wanted. And Mouth, while he's a sweetheart, he's also a "Geek" and not that typical cool kid, he's not athletic (even though he loves Sports). He would not have been popular if he wasn't already friends with Lucas before he joined the Ravens and then made friends with the others too. So I think he looks at all his friends and just feels very out of place and it's really sad... :(

One Tree Hill is truly masterful about putting in a really fun, big group episode after a really intense one. 3x18 sticks in my head as one and then we get this gem of an episode where the kids can just be in high school again. Going to prom, having their first time, falling in love more deeply - it all just makes me feel so warm. The ending stressed me tf out though lol

Ah yes, the prom episode. The cool thing about this one is the school is real as well as the students. They won a contest and were featured in this episode.
