i know stefan is angry and wants to kill silas but that scene when he said to Elena in front of damon "sometimes you put your hope into the wrong people" and he looks at damon and again I get his angry in that moment but it just annoys me how many times stefan talks down or talks shit on his own brother who even felt like he had to act like what stefan kept saying about him cuz that's all damon has heard from any family member that he isn't good enough or good enough to be with someone or have someone have faith in him. Just wanted to point that out

Thanks Sofie for posting the reaction in parts despite all the issues with Wi-Fi and Dropbox. I'm always eagerly waiting for them. This episode has doppelgangers written all over it😂 The whole sequence with all three doppelgangers was so powerful and each has their own personality. Silas , Amara and Qetsiyah dying together was something that didn't coming this soon but the way it was all wrapped made sense. I would really miss Qetsiyah and Silas because although annoying and problematic they were entertaining. Poor Stefan suffering from PTSD is really a good thing to show because he has gone through a horrifying experience and it cannot be okay just like that because he is back. I know Damon should be the one to notice but the thing is with all this is that people don't want to talk. Damon is keeping his distance probably because he thinks it's for the best and not instigate Stefan in any way and Stefan is not going to want to talk about it to him because he thinks that Damon didn't care about him and didn't notice him missing which is not the truth. I refuse to believe that all Summer Damon and Elena never thought about Stefan and didn't talk about missing him because I feel they must have had a conversation about it. Bonnie is back yayyy!!! Damon does deliver on his promise 😭💜 but again magic has its consequences....poor girl doesn't get a break from the pain.

I think he says that because at the end of the last episode when Tessa forcefully gives Stefan his memories back, she says that he hung on to the hope that the 2 people you love would come rescue you but they didn't, I did. So when he says that to Elena and looks at Damon, he's basically saying that he put his hope in Damon and Damon didn't come through for him.

Best part of the episode: Bonnie, Caroline and Elena hugging and they finally see Bonnie such a beautiful moment 😻 Christina was such a good singer it was so sad what happened to her poor girl we lost a wonderful artist and person :((

This season really shows the dynamic of the characters in such a strong way. It’s so obvious that Stefan is hurting, and feels hurt because the two people he loves most didn’t find him in time. Stefan would’ve been relentless in finding Damon, if he was lost. Now we’re going to see how far guilt brings Elena and Damon. I love Bonnie being back, however I hate how they write her character she’s always suffering, or at a disadvantage in some way. Katherine is just such a good character, she has such a complexity of emotions, and she’s true to herself.😆😆. I think KAtherine is scared of getting close to NAdia because when you think about it, she doesn’t really know how to relate to humans on an intimate level. I really do like this season, everyone’s pushed out their comfort zone.
