Love this episode and great reaction

Nebulous Shooter

I just realized the coincidence that my favorite parts of OTH coincide with my favorite parts of TVD ,pretty much the last batch of season 2, s3, s4 and s6. With the risk of setting some expectation bias, get ready for the best moments in any tv show history, that still hold up to this day, in terms of writing.

I feel AWFUL for Nathan. He KNOWS that Dan is a horrible person, and he managed to get away from him. But now he feels so guilty about everything with his Mum (Which is so far from his fault!) and Dan's getting in his head, that he just feels like he has to do this. I think Lucas should've stuck around when Nathan moved back tbh... For a few reasons. One being I would've loved to see them living together! But also, he said it himself back when he found out Dan had wanted shared custody of him, that if they'd grown up together they could've teamed up against Dan. And I feel like Nathan needs someone there who's on his side and can notice if Dan's pushing him too hard or being manipulative or hurting him in some way. Because even though Nathan managed to get away from Dan, there's always gonna be this part of him that's so vulnerable to Dan's abuse and manipulations, and he needs someone who can notice when that's happening and protect him... And I think Lucas could do that. He grew up in a healthy and loving environment with Karen and Keith, he'd be able to look at a situation with Dan and Nathan and think "Wait, this doesn't seem right." because he knows what a healthy father son relationship looks like as he had one with Keith, whereas Nathan has only ever had a toxic relationship with his Dan. So yeah, I don't think Lucas should've moved out when Nathan moved back in, he should've stayed. Karen would understand. I do love how protective Lucas has got over Nathan though. How he just wants to help him and all that. How he arranged the fundraiser to help him pay his rent, tried to make sure everything was perfect and nothing would trigger him (cars, cracker jacks, etc) And the fact that he and Brooke were driving Nathan and Peyton insane with how caring they were being is adorable! Then his reaction to Nathan moving back in with Dan too. He was so horrified by it because he KNOWS that Dan treated Nathan badly. He knows that moving back in with Dan is not gonna be good for him. He's worried about him. (And rightly so I think, I mean, just this episode Dan grabbed Nathan very forcefully and roughly, while he's on crutches! If that doesn't tell you how bad this could be, Idk what will...) I love Peyton and Nathan's friendship too. They went from being in a terrible relationship, to being really good friends who are able to support each other and talk about each others relationships. And Peyton feeling guilty about Haley and Chris, and Nathan telling her it's not her fault. I love them so much! Honestly one of my favourite friendships on the show... And the fact that Peyton drove over to check on him after learning Tim had driven him home (and she probably drove him to see Dan, because he wasn't supposed to be driving and Peyton wouldn't let him drive or walk over there himself...) Something else to notice though. When they're talking in Tric and Nathan says about what's really important, he says "My Mum, my friends, basketball." in that order. Back at the start of the show, Basketball would've been the first thing he said, probably the only thing he said, but now Basketball is last on the list. It just shows how far he's come.

Favourite line from the episode though has got to be "You ever rob a Bank, Luke?" I just find it funny. Imagine those two idiots trying to rob a Bank together... Would've been perfect! Haha

I Am Not Chamari

It's funny that you said that you were just starting to be over Lucas/Peyton and yet, Lucas/Peyton is haunting a possible future Lucas/Brooke romance. There's a line I would say, that is perfect for this, but it doesn't actually come until 3x01 lol I'll make sure to point it out when the time comes.
