Another episode with Lucas being an asshole to Haley. Lucas just should not be commenting on Haley's body in any way, shape or form. If she wants to get a tattoo then it is none of Lucas' business. It should not be weird to him and even if it is then he should keep his mouth shut. Haley may have felt that him and Brooke were a strange fit but she never brought up the fact that he got a tattoo. The only time she brought it up was when Lucas started judging her about her tattoo/being hypocritical and being judgmental. Again a guy should not be all judgey judgey about a tattoo that a woman chooses to get. That is Haley's business and not Lucas'. It's not even like Haley showed him the tattoo of her own volition, he just happened to see it and then forced her to talk about it and explain herself.

Haley was also judgey of Brooke when Lucas first started dating her and Lucas still hasn't fully come around on Nathan. So, the tattoo was a bit shocking for him, especially because he thought Nathan coerced her into it. But Haley's right, as always. Luke does hold Haley to a higher standard and I noticed it's a common thing that happens in male/female friendships. He needs to do better and I have faith that he will. As you said, at the end of the episode, he already showed that he is coming around. Yeah, the Nathan/Peyton kiss thing, in regards to Lucas, was really weird to write into this episode... I just think he really doesn't trust Nathan. But it was a stupid thought to have lol
