The theory of some supernatural beings finding peace is very flawed...all supernatural deaths should go to the other side, I never really understood how they could find peace, can someone explain without spoiling much?(maybe in my dm)

Firstly you look so prettyy Sofie. Beautiful haircut suits you. Merry Christmas to you and all at home. I knew you would love this episode. It’s one of my absolute favourites of TVD. I want someone like Lexi as my friend she got one day off in this world and she spends that only to help Stefan now that’s true friendship 🥺🥺 Anna- Pearl meeting always gets me teary eyed. I understand both Jeremy and bonnie’s situations here. None of them are wrong. Damon telling alaric I didn’t mean it with him- Mason implies he meant it with Alaric that’s his way of apologising I love their friendship soo much makes me cry 😭🥺When Mason tells Damon he wants redemption You can see it in Damon’s eyes that he feels bad and probably thinks he needs redemption as well. Upcoming episodes are soo good. Be ready!!!

Sofie I hope you had great Christmas. The necklace. How fantastic are the little side story lines of this show. The necklace that Stefan gave to Elena to protect her from Damon, little by little has became the symbol of trust between Damon and Elena, from when Elena took it out of her neck to show Damon he could trust her, Damon has return it to Elena times and times again to show her his love and devotion and to give her, selflessly, hope in her relationship with his brother, but it is always him, it is always about him and Elena and last time when she didn’t want it anymore was the sign that her hope for her relationship with Stefan was gone, with his humanity been strip away from him and with her not fully consciously realising that feelings, things are changing. Not to mention that that piece of jewellery is the talisman of the Original witch and has a past history on its own, that we will eventually discover.

I love this episode; the chance to see so many beloved characters was fantastic and very emotional. Lexi, I adore her, who doesn’t....well probably Damon doesn’t much, but he has his own reasons. Sofie you are so perceptive, in the sense that Lexi with her draconian methods has been an amazing friend to Stefan and brought him back from darkness many time. But that feeling that her methods are not good this time, are brutal, it is there for a reason. It is time for Stefan to grow, to learn not to lean on others to save himself and to do it not out of rage, anger, fright, hate, pain that are all negative emotions, but to do it out of love. He has to face his problems, possibly with the help of his brother, it is now time for him and his brother to deal with family problems, as family.

Alaric and Damon. Damon can be such a dick sometimes.🙄 I understand why Alaric is so mad at him. But at the same time, Damon is so adorably hopeless (his apology to Mason is hilarious, worse apology in the world😂) and so brutally honest, he is incapable to lie or to be fake, in any circumstance, even if it is disadvantageous to him, between convenience and honesty he always chose to be brutally and deliberately honest, not because he can’t lie but out of choice, which in my opinion is such a rare quality. That is why you cannot stay mad at him for long and that is what Alaric sees in him.

In this episode Elena too grow a little. Her compassion, her love for Stefan should be an obstacle for her life to move forward, shouldn’t be what prevent her from getting in her life what she wants, what she needs to grow into a woman, she has to put down boundaries with Stefan, she will not wait for him forever and that is very fair, with everything she went through in her life she has the right to wanting to move forward. I cannot wait for you to see the next episode that has some of my favourite moments of the entire show...season 3 rocks; every episode is just so endearing and so much fun.

Well Anna and Mason explained it. Some have unfinished business, so they linger to check on their loved one. For some their life has been fulfilling and don't need to linger, so they don't stay "on the other side stack alone,regratting their choices, they go wherever their supernatural soul want to go to be in piece.

Most of all in this episode, I feel sorry for Bonnie. Her grandmother had passed away when Bonnie needed her most. She was her mainstay, her guide to the witch's world. And she died so suddenly, leaving Bonnie behind. And despite that, she found the strength to let her go today. I was so glad to see Sheila. Her death was one of the most unfair to me. And how wonderful that in this episode, she was next to her granddaughter, instilling confidence and strength in her. Plus, Bonnie is going through Jeremy's betrayal. She had saved him, brought him back from the dead, risking not only her own life, but the consequences that might follow. And no matter what, she still has to do her job, send all the spirits to the other side. Bonnie is one of the most powerful characters in this show. It is a pity that it is often underestimated.

"Why does he make me happy?" 😁 This is one of Damon's phenomena. He has an extraordinary ability to get close to people and make them trust him. Alaric is a vampire hunter. He has devoted part of his life to finding the vampire who is involved in the disappearance of his wife. Damon slept with his wife and actually killed her, turning her into a vampire. By all the laws of the genre, Alaric should hate Damon, but on the contrary, he finds Him his best friend. Sheriff Forbes-hates vampires. One of her main activities is the extermination of vampires. And not only did she accept Caroline because she was her daughter, but she stayed close to Damon even after she found out the truth about him. By the way, even Mason turned to Damon for help in the first place. Why? Not to Caroline (who is Tyler's girlfriend and will do anything to help) with Bonnie (who is a witch and has several opportunities to help him), nor to Alaric, who knows a lot of information about vampires and has access to Isobel's research. Of all the possible people, Mason chooses Damon, who killed him and who doesn't have much love for Tyler. Moreover, if it wasn't for Elena, Tyler would have been dead by now, too. Why Damon?

All those ghosts today brought me back to season one for a moment. Lexi, Sheila, Mason... Perhaps they did not solve the problems of our heroes, but they gave the right direction, hope, strength and ways to move on to achieve the result. Back for one episode, they did a lot. Sofie, Merry Christmas! 🌲❤️ The next episodes will be very good. I look forward to.

Because as I said Damon can be bad but his motivations are never out of maliciousness, are always for love, he is deeply loyal, deeply brutally honest, funny, charming, sensitive and if you became a friend of his, he really cares. He is simply irresistable, it is impossible not to secame to his charme, that is why everybody like to have him around, those qualities are rare and are very obvious. I think Mason went to him because seen things for the other side, he can see that Damon deep inside well hidden has a heart of gold, he is someone that can be trusted. To us viewers, adding to those qualities, it's play by Ian Somerhalder the god of seduction, sex appeal and charme, and he is such a great actor, he does Damon like nobody else could have done, Damon fits him like a glove.

I love this episode. All the ghost back are fun, Anna is my favorite of all the death. I really don’t get why you are so hype about lexy, I mean she is an ok character I guess but still a meh character for me.
